There's no turning back now. He has a taste of conquering an entire country, and he wants more. The Sudetenland wasn't enough for Hitler, neither will Venezuela be enough for him.

Potential targets:

Greenland: Weak, easy to take, but could be politically dangerous if he wants to maintain somewhat friendly relations with the EU and NATO. Also has no significant natural resources, unless you like whale blubber. Not really likely, but he'll keep trying to buy it.

Cuba: Weak, easy, but only significant resource is cane sugar. But would be a major political target. Would be terrorist attacks involving exploding cigars.

Panama: Weak, easy, has the Canal. Tempting target.

Canada: Lots of oil. Canadians would put up a fight, significant numbers of Americans could die. Terrorist attacks involving poisoned poutine and maple syrup, bears armed to the teeth. Could be done though.

Mexico: Difficult to get away with. Mexican armed forces no match, but if they fight, you could lose significant numbers of American lives. Also, you would have a huge guerilla war on your hands. The cartels could carry out huge numbers of terrorist attacks in U.S. with scorpions and exploding tacos. But lots of oil.

Three years? He's two weeks away from openly calling himself emperor. He's stealing whole nations now. He's not going to abide by term limits. That ship sailed and was sunk by a formerly-illegal air strike.
