Trump's second term agenda

Have you read something or just guessing? Seems a bit early to even start to naming cabinet positions

I did read something on a liberal blog, but I can't seem to find it again. But while I have no idea what the plans would be, we would be kidding ourselves to think they are not being written just in case.

He has to do his first term first, I think that will be 10 years, then we can worry about what his agenda is for his second term. I think it will involve cigarettes and hamburgers on the one side and you name it on the other.

Step 1: Eliminate other two branches of Federal government.

Step 2: Keep barfing up about whataboutism which seems to the buzzword on conservative media and trying to deflect even though it's just tu quoque-ism fallacy.

Since it will be his second presidential term (his third if you count the current one) and he no longer needs to pander to the lowest denominator to gain more followers for the next election, he will focus on his historical legacy, so he will do his utmost to bring all Americans together in peace & harmony across party lines and ethnicities, and in order to put an end to anthropogenic global warming, he will set a good example by turning all his golf courses into wind farms.

Note: we have contacted the local emergency health authorities and hopefully they can help dann with his breakdown....

Every Republican policy reduces back to "Why have a government at all?"

All you need is the Lord Jayjuz and a strong male authority figure in your life to tell you how to think.

Tweak the libs. I simply don't know how much clearer they can make it at this point.

Trump 100% completely fulfilled his entire duty as President to the people who elected him about 4 seconds into election night when Fox News found the first crying liberal college kid to put on camera.

Agreed. Outside a handful or so of issues, Trump really didn't have much of a vision of what he actually wanted to accomplish in office other than self aggrandizement. That's a decent part why the Trump admin was such a bonanza of corruption. For many, many issues Trump wasn't really that interested and would defer to whatever advisor gave him a half-convincing pitch. Those in the Trump orbit could make a decent amount of money and prestige by controlling who got to bend Trump's ear, because he was so easily persuaded on many issues.

I can see why a DeSantis fan might be frustrated by the situation, because DeSantis is actually somewhat diligently doing all the things that these freaks say they want to happen, where Trump was very unfocused and easily derailed while wielding the levers of power. Much of his appeal is rooted in his personality and spite, that's not really a nuanced policy platform.

Again, as everyone was repeatedly assured during his campaigns and terms, it was Obama who wanted to destroy the country. People saying that were quite clear and unambiguous.

I believe we would be kidding ourselves if we thought they were.

In his entire career as a politician Trump has never exhibited the slightest inclination toward forethought of any kind, much less careful planning for some future hypothetical.

And none of his aides or staff stay around long enough to provide anything like continuity, so there's not going to be any help from that quarter.

How well prepared was he when he got elected before?

I wasn't really talking about Trump, but rather the various right-wing groups that surround him. You know, the Heritage Foundation, Family Research Council, Americans for Prosperity, etc.

None of them thought Trump would win in 2016, and were caught just as off-guard as Trump. That won't happen again. Battle plans will be drawn up, legislation written, legal briefs primed, etc. All of it waiting for the next successful electoral confluence. If not in 2024, then 2026, or 2028, or 2030, or whatever. The right-wing will never be caught off guard by electoral success again.

They will go to a newly elected Trump with their binders of stuff he does not understand or read, and tell him that he can be popular by signing these Executive Orders, of signing this legislation. And Trump will go along with it all because he has no idea how to actually do the job of President.

Why were they caught off guard that time?

Certainly they've been wargaming old and new options and contingencies for decades. I doubt they just started after Trump won.

So, as he's still the "real" president, who won more votes than anyone ever had voted for them, how's he get to stand again in 2024?

Trump was a brick thrown through the window of Liberal America.

The groups that jumped at him as the signal to destroy democracy are the insects who flew in the through the hole he left.
