Trump's second term agenda

It's worse than that, actually. They may be idiotic, but not much more than anybody else. They are fairly ordinary people whose worldview currently depends on the idea that Donald Trump is a good guy, maybe flawed, but nevertheless good, and that worldview is obviously threatened. And now they are presented with facts about him they don't like:

If I'm not mistaken, there is a follow up to this effect; that while some people double down and become hostile, overall the rate of people believing the misinformation is reduced anyway.

The most important thing in American politics is that Donald Trump is not our next president.

I think that the Dems are making that more difficult.

I am depressed about my nation.

I mean ****, Trump is the worst, Biden is probably the third worst and Harris is probably the second worst. We are so ******, this is the best we can do? We deserve this, the rest of you don't.

Agreed. Don't blame me, I just married into this...through some social contract about being born and still living here.

But on Day 1, non-aggression pact with Russia, abolishment of congressional and judicial checks & balances, and SNAP coupons for Minoxidil.

Yes, the emoluments clause applies to Biden just as it applied to all previous presidents.

Armitage72 wasn’t speculating with that line. #45 actually said that. He really is baffled by the idea that the president should not personally profit.

He never opened the accounting books on his Washington hotel.
We’ll never know if the Saudis called the hotel and said” we are planning on sending a delegation of 10 people to meet with our ambassador. But we don’t know when that’ll happen. So we want to reserve 10 rooms for the next year.”
With Trump rooms averaging $300/night that comes to just over one million dollars each year.
Trump sees no reason for that to be illegal.

Whatever occupies his mind on a daily basis.

The rest of the time will be spent signing nominations for federal judicial appointments, the one thing he managed to succeed with in his first term. It was telling that it was the one thing he had the least to do with; the Federalist Society vetted and groomed the candidates and the senate republicans handled the rest, so all trump had to do was sign a document.

You know I started off with the plan of writing a sarcastic silly reply, but lets say Trump gets elected, but the dems somehow take Congress. They just MIGHT, be able to convince Trump to replace "ObamaCare" with "TrumpCare" which will be more comprehensive than "ObamaCare". Trump won't care that its eval socialism, he'll care that his name is on it.
 
I imagine whatever we guess it will be at least that bad if not worse. One of the things I did not see, though I might have missed it, was a promise I seem to recall hearing that he would replace virtually all Federal civil servants with political loyalists, essentially making the entire Federal bureaucracy a spoils system. Almost guaranteed to be hopelessly stupid, corrupt and inefficient, in other words three reasons to do it.
 
I'm sure everyone agrees his first priority will be gathering up all the shirts, pants, and shoes he likely left scattered all around the White House before he left. Once that's done he'll get on with the really important stuff like 'death to my enemies' and whatnot.

Problem with that plan is that the progressive wing of the Democrats would need to be in the ascendancy. And the establishment wing are not going to get their claws out of the levers of party power.
 
The R's are currently shouting from the rooftops about "weaponization" of the DOJ and FBI. They're vowing to do something about; hamstring those agencies.
Wait til Trump gets back in. They'll be all for it then!

Its one of Trumps most amazing accomplishments, he's got Repubs attacking the FBI and CIA and Dems defending them.
