As I posted in another thread, the fact that the election was a rout doesn't lend itself to protests. You protest when the result was close and you can make the argument that something was unfair. When you get slaughtered, you have little choice but to think your loss was legitimate.

The next logical step would be for the Democrats to give serious consideration to what they did wrong, rather than to blame their losses on the "deplorables" or, as MSNBC has done, on black misogynists and hispanic racist-misogynists:

I live in Portland. There were peaceful protests until a group of anarchists started being idiots . Out of 112 people arrested during the riots at least 79 either didn't turn in a ballot or weren't registered to vote in the Oregon. They were agitators. No one claimed the election was stolen or rigged and no one tried to stop the certification of the election. Compare that to Jan. 6.

it is a theory that the sooner you have a repressive fascist government the better; it will mean the masses will be radicialized much quicker and glorous people's revolution happen much sooner. In the 1960's some Latin America guerilla groups delibertly provoked fovernments to extreme action to hasten the revolution. Some German Communist in the early 30's actually had a slogan; 'The Sooner we have Hitler, the Sooner we will have the Revolution". It did not work out very well for them.

I know the theory, and I think it is bollocks. Maybe some theorists think that it is a great idea, but getting the foot soldiers to support a right wing government to bring the revolution closer is a pure fantasy.

Exactly and like you posted, those riots were instigated by disguised "anti-fascist" who ran down the street throwing rocks into storefront windows, and then at LE. It's within the realm of possibilities that they were maga weirdoes trying to turn a peaceful protest into a violent one to discredit the left.

As a matter of fact, the police and FBI, using video camera film, identified a number of right-wing militia members instigating violence at BLM protests. The goal was to start a race war. One guy was videotaped in 4 cities.

Of course, the maga weirdoes will say none of that is true, but they have to say that in order to continue having even one milligram of credibility.

The real damage the KPD...the German Communist Party did in 1933, was not joining with the other democratic parties in a stop Hitler coalition. This was done on the direct orders of Comintern, which wa sdunder the thumb of a certain Joeseph Stalin.....

ANd it not like China will not strike back against American business in China. It is a two way street.
If the MAGAS though BIden inflation was bad, wait until they see Trump inflation.
I keep on hearing that the tariffs are just a threat to pressure CHina into a economic deal,but it ain't gonna work.
I despise the current CHinese regime....they should be considered hostile to the US...but I can see how the hell tariffs will deal with that.
