I'm a black Nazi! - GOP Nominee for Governor

And idiots will still vote for him.

Luckily, not enough for him to win.
I think his vetoing of the relieft bill will just add to his problems.
We all know there are people who will blindly vote for anybody who has the right letter after their name on the ballot.
I am sure the Stein campaing will let everybody know about Robinson's stand on this.
Never forget; it is the swing voters who decide elections.

Well Robinson got around to filing his lawsuit. It was filed in NC against CNN and at least one other individual named Louis Love Money. The latter of which claimed Robinson visited a porn shop that he once worked at and bought some videos. I have no idea if any of this is true or not but the denials made by Robinson's lawyers seemed a bit off to me. Like the following for instance, where they addressing the claims against Mr. Love Money:

Robinson denies the allegation in the lawsuit, which reads, “Lt. Gov. Robinson was not spending hours at the video store, five nights a week. He was not renting or previewing videos, and he did not purchase ‘bootleg’ or other videos from Defendant Money.” Source

He's not really denying much. He never says he didn't go to the store, or purchase porn, or even that he was there 5 nights a week. Just that he didn't spend hours there on those 5 nights and that he didn't buy 'bootleg' porn. It doesn't really deny he was buying porn and seems to imply everything else is spot on.

Also:

Robinson, who announced the lawsuit at a news conference in Raleigh with a Virginia-based attorney, has denied authoring the messages.

CNN “chose to publish despite knowing or recklessly disregarding that Lt. Gov. Robinson’s data — including his name, date of birth, passwords, and the email address supposedly associated with the NudeAfrica account — were previously compromised by multiple data breaches,” the lawsuit states, referencing the website.

He denies authoring the messages but that doesn't make any of this less newsworthy. In fact, I would argue it's more newsworthy. These mysterious hackers stole his passwords, email addy's, etc. and then...made a bunch of comments on porn sites? Those comments just happen to align with his exact stances he holds in his current campaign?

I mean, whatever, I don't know if he did it or not and I'm more just making fun of him than anything. I'm interested to see how fast this lawsuit gets either dismissed or dropped once the election is over.

I'm sorry, "Louis Love Money?"

Without trying to insult anyone. He's the lead singer of a punk band that worked in a porn shop for years lol. Everyone needs a way to get recognized.

I would have gone full alliteration with something like "Louis Love Lamp" or something along those lines.

How interesting. I have a friend who owned an adult video store for years until he recently sold it and retired quite confortably. I occasionally met him there after work and in the back there was a video previewing area.

It consisted of a series of small booths with locking doors. Inside, the customer could deposit coins into the machine which allowed him to um..."preview" a selection of videos. There was even tissues provided for when the customer had completed his "previewing" session.

I have no evidence that this is what was going on with Robinson but this is immediately what I thought of what I saw that wording.

I really don't want to care about this crap. I personally don't give a damn if a candidate watches porn or goes to an adult video store. I don't care if he/she is a freak or Mr or Ms Boring. And if that candidate campaigned on fiscal priorities, healthcare, economics and issues unrelated to people's sex or religious lives I don't think it bears mentioning.

But when they are pompous religious hypocritical jerks then it matters a lot.

Really? I thought retail porn died years ago.

Robinson amended his complaint since, if I'm reading it right, the law is that he can't request a specific amount as the jury will decide that. Source

A few quotes:

"North Carolina state courts limit plaintiffs to stating in a complaint whether the damages are more than $25,000. The exact amount of damages will be determined by a jury at trial. We have every confidence that the jury will get it right."
His claim is a bit bizarre too. He's saying CNN:

...either knew or disregarded the vulnerabilities of the software used by the pornographic website they reported on.
I don't see that flying in civil court. The one good thing that could come of this is to see how CNN confirmed the details of the comments. I, personally, think that Robinson will drop the lawsuit immediately after the election. This is nothing more than a last ditch effort to save his ass in the election, which it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I see some evagelicals leader defend him.
There have been a number of these scnadals with evangelical preachers.
The schandfreud they showed over the Catholic Preist sex scandals is biting them in the butt.
