Trump's Second Term

Whether the legality of the name change figures into the lawsuit outcome is something that I wouldn't know, but it would make AMBASSSDOR Grenell and the Kennedy Center board look pretty bad if a court were to determine that the name change was not legal, and might even generate public sympathy for the musicians.
I don't see how that issue would even come up in such a lawsuit, unless their contract has some clause related to the name. Which would be odd.

Went through about 100 posts on threads. It was about Trump and Epstein. All kinds of links and photos and babies dumped in Lake Michigan. The MAGA people responding, ten or more, all said pretty much "so there are pictures of Trump and Epstein, so what?" They are not going to look at any document from the files unless it is shown on Fox News.
Er, what now?

This latest post about Obama not giving lethal aid and such until after is really just par for the course as he leaves out quite a lot of very relevant information that would show that the narrative he's pushing is very unreasonable. I would suggest tempering any expectations in a discussion with him.
Wait... Are you under the impression that Obama ever gave lethal aid to Ukraine? He did not. After Russia's 2014 invasion, he only gave non-lethal aid.

During Trump's first term, Trump gave lethal aid, including the critical Javelin and Stinger missiles that proven crucial in stopping Russia's initial onslaught. During this first term he also tried to stop the construction of the Nordstream 2 pipeline and get Europe to increase military spending. These were not the actions of someone dancing to Putin's tune.

I understand complaints about him going to soft on Putin, and there's room for criticism about how he's handling the Ukraine war, but the idea that he's under Putin's control doesn't withstand even the most superficial scrutiny.

For those getting your hopes up that finally Trump might be taken down, the Epstein files include a lot of documents that the FBI know are bogus but had to be released anyways because even fake tips are still part of the file. The letter supposedly from Epstein to Larry Nassar is an example: it's known to be fake, but it's still part of the files.

As of this moment, I don't believe there is any confirmation that this submitted tip about a baby is real.

I’m sorry I asked, and would seem to have obliterated the memory of reading that.
( and for good reason, too)

Again, you're full of crap. Congress did that. Trump as the executive was required by law to transfer the assets and the weapons. And he delayed much of the aid. It also should be noted that Ukraine wasn't invaded during Obama's term or even close to it. It wasn't until February of 2022. 6 years later.

Ukraine very much was invaded during Obama's term. Are you really that ignorant of what happened in 2014? That's just embarrassing.

I was wondering about the name change. Probably wouldn't do much but it might make a difference if the name change were seen to reflect a change in the character of the institution. The center's name, management, and stated policy all changed. About the only thing that's the same is the building, and that's not guaranteed.
