Merged why the release of names associated with Epstein mean little to absolutely nothing.

"Newly released Jeffrey Epstein files show he was in contact with Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Prince Andrew, Steve Bannon and Peter Thiel."

Not sure how useful this information is.

It is very useful in that it establishes that a lot of very rich, powerful people with the ability to blow the whistle on illegal activities without having to fear repercussions choose to say nothing when being part of parties of very, very young women "entertaining" a lot of old farts.
We can deduce from this that they will happily look the other way for other crimes as well if they get to have a party.
We also have to ask if the FBI or any other investigators ever interviewed any of them about what they saw - if not, why not?

It's not just a question of what these people did, it's what they didn't do.

I hate to sound conspiracy-theorist (I lie, I adore it, it's so dramatic!) but one of those mentioned has different inclinations than the others. I suspect if he was there it was for networking of the blackmail variety rather than the fleshly pursuits of the others. That would help explain his very strange rise to power and influence while remaining so much further under the radar than Musk.

not sure how much this has registered:

Epstein claimed 2 1/2 weeks before his death that his cellmate, an ex-cop waiting for his trial for 4 murders, tried to kill him. The incident was put down as a suicide attempt.

At the very least, this makes it even more neglectful that Epstein wasn't more closely monitored.

Pedophile or ephebophile, is that reslly important? Does it change anything, would pinpoiting the exact term that would describe him really add anything now? Also, do we actually know exactly what he was? Or are we just reading minds?

It's an important distinction for clinical researchers, adult men who want to ◊◊◊◊ high school girls, and no one else.

as gop moves heaven and earth to avoid voting on releasing new evidence to the public, howard lutnick calls epstein the greatest blackmailer ever.

all of which is pretty normal and not suspicious at all.

bondi and fbi at odds on who to blame for handling of the epstein case as they point fingers at one another and slowly leak evidence to the public

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

She told us the files were on her desk.

Sounds like he tacked on the "blackmail" conspiracy theory to an alleged encounter he once had.

Just a reminder what Attorney Bradley Edwards told ABC a couple months back.

Edwards said he is bound by attorney-client privilege and cannot ethically reveal the names of any of Epstein's alleged associates without permission from his clients.
But he said he has seen no indication that Epstein kept a list of those men, or that he made it a practice to use those instances to blackmail or extort the men, even though those men may have been legitimately concerned that Epstein had compromising information that he could use against them.

"It's difficult to even discern, when he would send a woman to one of his friends, whether that was even a motivation. What he was not is a person on the top of a sex trafficking operation that was sending women to powerful people around the world so that he could make money. It was not a business," Edwards said.

I'm a bit annoyed by the qualifier after the highlighted. It could describe blackmail in a different context, given Epstein's familiarity with some of his friends' finances.

The fact that Republicans prefer a Government Shutdown over a vote to release the Epstein Files should tell you exactly how much they think they mean.
Amazing how Schumer went so far as to promise a cloture vote to move the CR if only the GOP would release the files. ;)

you know what’s coming next.

which is not at all suspicious. she was probably innocent anyway
Absolutely! Poor woman, to be treated so unfairly, she was probably like a second mother to those girls. I just wish her well.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A close Epstein, with a history of decades of sex trafficking through a model agency, and raping very young women also died in prison, in 2022.

I wouldn't be surprised if Maxwell just keeps her mouth shut, knowing that she wouldn't live long otherwise.

I don't know about this. As long as the story is not told she's a threat. Telling everything explodes the bomb she's carrying around. Killing her after is like trying to do something after the bomb goes off.
