Cont: The Russian Invasion of Ukraine part 9

My latest thought is even if Putin did win the war and effectively gain control over Ukraine, he'll end up inheriting several million very angry Ukrainians, both within the country and out. It won't be as bad as trying to hold Afghanistan, but it won't be a cakewalk either.

Difficult Night for Russian Air Defense: Defense Forces Hit Two Oil Depots, Key Substation, and Two Radars in Crimea

Defense Forces struck two oil depots, including one in Simferopol, a substation in Dzhankoy — a key facility supplying electricity to temporarily occupied territories — as well as a Kasta-2E2 surveillance radar and a 96L6E radar of the S-400 air defense system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

On November 20, russian general Sergey Kuzovlev reports to a russian führer, Putin, that Kupiansk is completely under russian control.

On December 9, Putin awards Kuzovlev for “capturing” Kupiansk.

On December 12, President Zelensky sends greetings to Ukrainian soldiers from Kupiansk.

Sometimes, it feels like russians live in an alternative reality

I think someone might be being invited to admire an interesting view shortly.

Speaking of Putin ...

I want the ordinary citizens of Western countries to hear me. You are being persistently told that all your current difficulties are the result of hostile actions by vicious Russia, and that you must pay for the fight against a mythical Russian threat out of your own pockets. All of this is a lie. The truth is that the problems you are facing now are the result of years of actions by the ruling elites of your own countries—their mistakes, short-sightedness, and ambition. They do not think about how to improve your lives; they are obsessed with their own selfish interests and excessive profits - President Putin

In a way, Putain is right, the western political elite's pandering of Yeltsin and himself have lead us to this.

Ukraine is a country of approximately 35,000,000 people. Ruzzia doesn'thave the military capability to occupy it.

Turkish fighter jets shoot down 'out of control' drone over Black Sea

F-16 fighter planes were scrambled after the drone was detected, the Turkish defence ministry said in a statement late on Monday.

"To avoid any potential harm, it was shot down in a safe area outside of populated area," it said. The statement gave no further details of the location or time of the incident.
