I'm curious, if only Jref members could vote for president who would win?
Prolly some nerdy technocrat who could fix the world but would be shot within a week of being sworn in (on a copy of the Constitution, mind you, not the Bible.)I'm curious, if only Jref members could vote for president who would win?
Huh?Can't, but wouldn't have if I could.

I never understood how people claim Not Participating in an election as a principled action. Of course, pragmatism is one of my core principles, so the fact that Not Participating in elections that are widely seen as legitimate has had exactly zero impact on the way future elections are run means that such an action (or non-action as the case may be) runs counter to my core principles. Can't, but wouldn't have if I could.

Yeah, I can't tell which dann would prefer to elections: dictatorship or anarchy. Because everything in between requires some form of elections.Huh?
The article isn't without a point however you are right when it comes to pragmatism. The proof is in the pudding (actually it's in the eating but that's another thread).Yeah, I can't tell which dann would prefer to elections: dictatorship or anarchy. I think it would be great if the window for casting votes was wider. Ideally, voting would begin as soon as all the party nominees and independent candidates are locked in.Crikey, it's a close election so far, at seven all.
If only you could cast your vote in the real world anytime between now and November. It would give a chance for all Americans to cast their votes and guarantee a high turnout.
I, for one, look forward for the numbers above to change over the course of the next few months.
Maybe it could become a sticky?

It looks like McCain might get beaten by "Other".
