My low opinion of this forum has been sealed.

(I'll probably end up voting for Bob Barr personally, though the Boston Tea Party would be a nice alternative if they can get on the ballot in my state. Not that I believe in voting, but with all other activism I'm doing not wasting 15 minutes on that as well would be silly.)

At least you are following reality; Obama, McCain or waste your vote. I voted other, because I can't decide who to vote against yet. It would be nice to have someone to vote for.

Some only sound and think Marxist, without self-identifying as such...

Only if you use a definition of the word "Marxist" that exists purely in your head and on right-wing talk radio, where everyone left of Pat Buchanan is a "Marxist."

You're late; The Red Scare lost steam many decades ago.

I'm not a citizen of the United States, but would vote for Obama if I were.

It's such a shame Ron Paul is out of the race. I'm sure if he were elected, the truth about how the Freemasons and the Bilderbergers secretly organised 9-11 to bring about the New World Order would be revealed at last!!!1

For the first time in my life, I will not walk out of the voting booth feeling like I voted for the lesser of two evils. In this poll, I voted "other". I am write-in voting for Ron Paul. Yes, I know it will not 'count', and I know that even if millions of people did the exact same thing, Dr. Paul would not secure the nomination. However, I am a principled person and I value the principles that Ron Paul spoke about during many of his campaign speeches.

Ralph Nader!

I've voted for him every election since 2000. (I'm not doing it to "play it safe", either, I did look at the other candidates' platforms.)

If I was in teh US I would probably vote Nadar or similar. Dunno - neither of the two main candidates appeal although neither seem to awful either. What is the view in the US - are the electorate engaged or in despair?
