Update of August 18 2010
The third test was cancelled a few days prior to its intended date of execution. A date had been set for the weekend of August 14-15th 2010 before all arrangements had been made. The skeptical organization was unable to find a location for the test, as well as a camera person on such short notice (and we are talking about arranging the whole thing in a matter of days, something which is a brave attempt but we gave it a try). Three test subjects, two females one male, had been found, and skeptical members were available for the test on that date.
The cancellation was thus not due to my own negligence, lack of interest, or obfuscation, as some critics are likely to claim. I had done all I could to ensure that it takes place, and so had the skeptical organization. The organization was, I will now reveal, the Swedish skeptical group Vetenskap och Folkbildning found at
www.vof.se.
The test and its arrangements could not simply be postponed as I am soon leaving the country for another two years, and valuable members of the organization begin with their own important and time-consuming engagements with work as well. It was a good shot and it could have taken place, meanwhile in the process of arrangements I did learn a lot that I bring with me and that is a valuable contribution to my investigation as a whole.
Thank you to Vetenskap och Folkbildning and their representative Jesper Jerkert for beautiful work, for considering my claim, and for the progress our involvement has led to my investigation as a whole. Bits of our correspondence may be published here later to illustrate what the work is like when dealing with the plans of conducting a paranormal test, as this investigation and website is intended as a documentary of that process.
