Looks like the 2020's version of showing kids how to duck under their desks in the event of a nuclear explosion.
 
Just a quick note, how does excluding 'gang' violence differentiate by ethnicity?

Is that one of those weird definitions like if 'white', then 'not gang'.

If you think that there are no 'whites' in gangs, then you haven't been paying attention.

(Inverted commas used above because I'm aware that the definition varies a lot.)

Remember when right-wingers seriously argued that the first amendment did not protect Islam because it was not a religon, but "a death cult".

If there is anything that sounds like a death cult it is "dead children are a price I am prepared to pay to recklessly endanger myself, my family and neighbours!"

I agree based on my experience looking at mass shootings. It's very rare for a mass shooting to involve "gang activity," which means a shootout between rival gangs.

Less rare, but still rare compared to all other mass shootings, is "gang-related," which usually involves a gang member but has nothing to do with gang activity.

And the "gang activity" mass shootings rarely happen in a vacuum. It's almost always in a public area where bystanders are injured more often than gang members.

To believe most mass shooting victims are gang members is just delusional.
 
On Monday one of the USAian right, and Poxy supporter Peter Grant posted:
“The mall shoppers in Allen, Texas probably never in their worst nightmares imagined an illegal alien arriving by car, heavily armed, and starting to shoot at them as they went about their daily activities. Yet… it happened. As of this morning, eight are dead, and others are wounded. If it wasn’t for a very brave policeman who “ran to the sound of the guns” and took out the shooter at grave risk to himself, there would have been many more. “

Naturally he has not clarified this to indicate the murder was not an illegal immigrant and was also a right-wing, white supremacist and incel.

I think we learned that you'll support a ridiculous claim with a source that cites another source that completely disproves said claim, and that your position really is as transparent as dudalb said.

There have been 10 mass shootings since the Allen, Texas shooting(with 10 killed and 41 wounded – none of which were mentioned on this board because there was no "white supremacist ideology" involved).
Of those 10, gang activity/related/violence is mentioned in only one. 1 person was killed, 5 were wounded during a drive-by at an outdoor gathering in Chico, California.


Here's what the local DA has to say:

“We believe it’s gang-related,” Ramsey said. “I think that’s somewhat important by virtue of the fact that this is not a Texas-type thing or any of the other random mass shootings. This appears to be a rival gang. It’s unfortunate stuff we’ve seen in the past but this time it was escalated.”

The deceased victim was a 17-year-old girl. She could be a gang member but I doubt it. I will follow up on the story as more information is released. My guess is that none of the victims were gang members.

You are correct, I claimed 10:1 when in reality the black-on-white violence ratio is closer to 7:1, but nice flex, bro.

And in the U.S., white people outnumber black people by nearly 6:1. And yet, in 2021, assaults by black people against white people only outnumbered black on black assaults by 1.25:1.

Why would we expect your outrageous, racist, fear-porn conspiracy theory to be any less math challenged than, say, flat earth or moon landing hoax CTs?

My claim was about interracial violence, no need to distract from it. 7:1 is not the victory you think it is.
 
And I'm still looking forward to when Bogative sets out his solution to the problem of interracial violence. Heck, we're all looking forward to that.

I mean, it's not as if he's afraid or anything. Right!
