Well, he really wanted to grab a bit of the glory while things seemed to be going so well for Israel and it all looks easy. I think that's a fair comparison with Il Duce. He got to brag "Unconditional surrender" before anyone managed to explain to him the part that's left to do is mostly is the messy horrible grind of sorting out what the new relationships between these nations are going to be. There isn't going to be a victory parade through Tehran.

This sounds exactly like what happened during the lead up to the Iraq war which I protested heavily, and no, I wasn't pro-terrorist or pro-Sadam (the sick bastards) or pro-Iran.
