Merged why the release of names associated with Epstein mean little to absolutely nothing.

When Epstein says that Trump is "the dog that didn't bark", it's a reference to a Sherlock Holmes mystery.
Epstein is suggesting that Trump might be working with the investigators and thus be spared himself.
Johnson said as much in a Freudian moment, though he might have been confabulating; personally, I don't think he has the imagination to come up with the idea of Trump being a CI against Epstein.

At first glance, Trump is a great snitch, as there has never been anyone we wouldn't instantly throw under the bus for personal advantage. Of course, he is also the worst possible witness.

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him. This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats. Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his "Island."

Stay tuned!!!

Stay tuned!!!
I recall before he ran for president a news-type piece about how Trump would manipulate the tabloid press. Me wonders if he's doing the same here. He knows he's got nothing to worry about, but makes his enemies really push to get the files out there thinking they've finally got him. Then it blows up in their face. Stay tuned, indeed.

I'm not sure it will blow up in anyone's face. But I do believe Trump is using it as a distraction from him actually accomplishing anything that helps anyone, but his co-conspirators. His tarriffs policies are hurting almost everyone. He has turned the US into most hated nations status. Retaliatory actions by every other country is taking its toll on pretty much every US industry not to mention consumers.

In related news, it's been two months since that Epstein press conference organized by Brad Edwards and Congressmen Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie during which some accusers claimed they'd be creating their own "list" since the government refuses to release names of accused individuals. And Marjorie Taylor Greene (and I think Massie) claimed they'd read it on the floor of the House, protected by the Speech or Debate Clause.

Greene was recently asked for an update and she replied "there hasn't been any movement forward on that". CNN
Now Massie is backtracking, saying he's not going to read the "list" of perpetrators on the floor of the House after all and says it's the responsibility of the FBI to "investigate them".

They had to delete this post. This is BEYOND embarrassing.

I don't get it, why is it "BEYOND" embarrassing? Who the ◊◊◊◊ are "@TheDemocrats"? It certainly doesn't appear to be an official channel by any means, and it has a spattering of posts from all over the place. To whom is it BEYOND embarrassing?

Why? What's interesting? Video won't play.
You can follow the link above the video for a text version of the story. The video shows text messages between Epstein and Democratic delegate Stacey Plaskett, synced up (using time stamps) to her during Cohen's congressional testimony. Epstein was giving Plaskett advice in real time about what to ask Cohen, and she was taking that advice.

Sounds mostly embarrassing for Trump and his no. 1 fixer if a convicted child trafficker has intimate knowledge about their skeletons in the closet. It would only be scandalous if Epstein was promised anything in return.

What skeletons? Nothing of substance came out of that.

I wonder what he might want.

This really isn't embarrassing for Trump at all. Epstein hated Trump and considered him an enemy. And he considered various Democrats, including Plaskett, as friends or allies. And you think the stink from that is going to stick to Trump, not Plaskett?

It didn't show me a damn thing because it was paywalled. There was a brief summary and that was it. Nothing else.

So what am I supposed to be upset about here? A man with insider knowledge about Cohen was giving that knowledge to someone that was interrogating him? Is that the problem?

What stink? I breezed through your article and it doesn't look like Plasket gave Epstein anything, or used her political power to provide him with anything. He donated to her campaign and tried to donate to the DCCC but was rejected. Seems like standard ◊◊◊◊ in politics.

Should we talk about the people who have donated to Trump and gotten actual kickbacks from him? *cough* Musk *cough*. Seriously.

Oh, it's up to you whether you want to be upset about it or not. You are under no obligation. But Democrats have tried to drum up outrage because Trump had interactions with Epstein. But by their own metric, they're even more guilty.

Is it not the official X account of the DNC?

And this is not far from most of the stupid reactions in the media. But the recent file dumps do reinforce the idea that Epstein probably really was just a smart, knowledgeable, naturally curious, and well-connected guy. You don't need blackmail, you don't need prostitution ring, you don't need intelligence ties to explain his connections with the elite. In fact the media has drifted so far off the main idea it's just political theater at this point.

He knows the stink is going to stick to Trump. He's one of the ones working hard to make it so.

I don't think anyone is upset by a mere interaction with Epstein, and everyone here can tell how disingenuous you're being. It's your new thing now. Everything has to be laid out for you because you just simply can't understand how society works anymore.

I'm asking what you think we should be bothered by and you deflected with disingenuous nonsense.

You said it yourself, Epstein hated Trump. That Epstein would play a role in trying to take down his fixer wouldn't really be surprising to me, but then again I don't know most of what you're talking about because the bulk of it was paywalled.
