Considering that most voting and decision making is emotion based for liberals and conservatives, this is nothing new. If their plight is not perceptively changed, a charismatic populist can take this demographic from Trump. It is wise not to assume you have unlimited support from those who elect you no matter how strong the support is in the current moment.
