This should be an easy case. Just tattoo Maduro's knuckles and try him as a gang member. Deport to El Salvador.

Yes, Rubio is right about this. America doesn't need Venezuela's oil.

Trump and his associates would like the profits from selling the oil. I mean why use that money to benefit the people of Venezuela? That would be Communism. America believes in Capitalism. In other words, there are billionaire families in the US that could use the money.

I think other countries are safe from US invasion for now.
Surely even Donald isn't stupid enough to divert his forces to a new front before he has subdued and secured the first one and just assume it won't continue to resist.

I can't think of sny military leader that would have made such a basic mistake!

Pretty unimpressive by _____ standards. I would have expected that a successful invasion would have led to 500 or 600, or maybe even 700, percent elimination of narcotics being trafficked into America.
 
Well, they've already been open about Greenland being next. But there is no dictator there, so it will likely be done with bribes and economic pressure. Not sure the Greenlanders will take it lying down.

Honestly, Rubio saying that the US won't "govern" Venezuela is entirely believable. The Republican Party has long made "Government doesn't work" a key theme of their propaganda, after all, and has worked hard to make that into reality in the US to manipulate the masses. Either way, there's virtually no way this actually ends with a net positive for the US or Venezuela with these self-centered criminals and scofflaws in charge.
 
Well .. to be fair, US is governed by binary logic. Two parties. Two options on anything, no nuance, no middle ground, only the extremes. Love or hate, no indifference. Also every topic supported by one party is opposed by the other party, which sometimes leads to really weird associations .. like if you are against abortions (to any extent, don't forget, no nuance) you must also support military action against Venezuela (again, to any extent).
US is screwed and us non-US as well.
