From what I have read, the digging up of his comments on Islam being evil might have been the tipping point. Whenthe US has to work with Muslim governments on defense issues, putting a pure Islamophobe in as defense is not a good idea even to some Republicans.

If I'm not mistaken, that's El Capitan in Yosemite. Which is not only not the highest peak in the lower 48, but not for the whole USA. And it's nowhere near Canada. So WTAF is Donny doing standing out in the open (which he hates) beneath a Canadian flag flying in Yosemite NP, California. This is just so full of stupid that it hurts.
