I am aware that it is quite illogical to side with hardcore Conservatives on Social issues, but is there such a thing as being "too Liberal"? Along with a couple of other questions people should ask themselves.

-Has anybody here ever been labeled to be "too liberal"?

-Is it bad to be "too liberal"?, just like being "too skinny", "too big", etc.

- What would America be like if our society was fully Liberal, and Conservatism did not exist?

- Are there any issues that Liberals make the wrong decision on? Do you disagree with some of their Ideas?

Conservatism and liberalism are not opposite sides of the coin; liberal is not left or right. There is nothing necessarily contradictory with holding liberal views whatever your left/right ideological position may be.

I disagree with liberals all the time.

The Supreme court decision on Kelo comes to mind. I agreed with Scalia and Thomas. Scalia and Thomas!!! :p

Personally, I think it would be wonderful. On the other hand, it wouldn't look very much like the Democratic Party's agenda.

Can the OP be rephrased into a question that can be answered without the phrase: 'this makes no sense, I'm answering a different question which I hope is related to whatever you posted?'

Response is It makes no sense.

Rinse, and repeat.

I wouldn't say too liberal but there are extremist liberals just as there are extremists in any political or ideological group.

^And that's just one other way of framing stuff too, albeit with a decent "following"

On the Left/Right scale, I'm a .5 with -10 being totally left which I think qualifies as "moderate". On the other hand, I'm a -7 on the Authoritarian/Libertarian scale which could be also be interpreted as "liberal" by some.
However, I think this graph is missing a very important dimension: Idealist/Realist which one of my political science teachers felt was more important than the Left/Right dimension. On that scale, I'm in the realists camp.

Last month on TV, I saw some folks out in Berkeley being interviewed. They seemed absolutely convinced that if enough people in the U.S. meditated, then violence in Afghanistan and Iraq would be reduced. They believed that part of the U.S. military budget should be set aside to teach people to meditate. I would describe them as too liberal.

In the interest of full disclosure, I find unbridled liberalism as undesirable as unbridled conservatism.

And that sums up one of the difficulties of trying to have a coherent discussion about political ideologies. There will always be people with their own arbitrary and private definitions of terms who will jump at the opportunity to attempt to impose those definitions upon everyone else so that nobody is quite sure what anyone else is saying.

You know, I am not sure how to answer your questions, but I will say this: I've never met a single human being who was "completely liberal" or "completely conservative". The definitions are too broad, and in truth, I think most people are a mix of each, depending on the issues. That kind of makes it hard to discuss politics, but I think those differences can be overcome so long as we stop painting one another with very broad brushes.

I think society would suck if we all thought alike. Personally. How dull. Talk about brainwashing...

What did you do, makaya, put a bunch of questions on the wall, get drunk and throw darts at them. How 'bout making some point about what's on your mind then ask a question about it. "It" being just one topic. It will probably be impossible to follow you even then, but there would at least be hope.
