Time stamped prediction

Should it dear heart... did those words you murmured to me on the Seine near the Ilse de Paris mean nothing?

How can you mock Lucianarchy now, applauding the mockery of him, when you did no such thing on the Fortean board?

Perhaps you think that it is OK to hold different opinions, depending on what situation you are in?

To qualify the above comment.
Anyone who has read my commentary elsewhere will know that I seldom take anytrhing seriously fro any length of time.

At the risk of declaring a defacatory area, you cam onto MY turf acting like an a** hole. Not nice, what ever your motives were. I can find Lucian's activities amusingly determined now, having the benefit of hindsight. Alas, unlike your own, godlike, self most of us have to learn. I would cordially suggest that if you have a problem with that, we take it private and we shall discuss the moral high ground there. Otherwise, I would suggest that you are simply belligerent and grudge bearing, which precludes an open mind, and which confirms most peoples views on 'skeptics' (using the abhorrent Webster spelling) as a bunch of keel-less individuals who scream at the chaos 'I DON'T BELIEVE!!!!!'

However, looking at your own oeuvre, I know I'm pissing in the wind. I would do better trying to explain archery to a rock than try to explain open-mindedness to such...

My aged Mother taught me 'treat everyone as equals until they prove you wrong' I may not have lived by that axiom, but I have at least taken the concept on board. Usually the guy who comes out slugging has something to prove. That was something my Father taught me, as a man who was boxing three out of his weight for the Allied Forces in the Mediterranean. If you can stop slugging for a moment, I think you'll find we've always been batting for the same side.
The enemy is the noise, the pretentious, the belligerent and the
fool. It is a common one. We have no business sniping at each other. However... I am simply wasting bandwidth trying to explain that. You now have your pre-conception and that is a comfort zone. I can appreciate that, having spent some time in psychotherapy.

Accept it neither you nor Lucianarchy are natural posters on the FT boards. JREF and FT have a very different style. You may not like FT's stlye but that is your (and now Lucianarchy's) problem. Some people respond better to the soft approach some take advantage of it. The FT boards provide a place where people wont go at you too hard. JREF provides a place where you can hit as hard as you like.

All sparring aside, is it possible Lucianarchy is trying to woo-up to Wu in order to find out how to get an 'all expenses paid' trip to Interlaken?

'Where there's muck, there's brass' . . . as they say in Ye North of Merry Olde England. [There be dragons!]

Hmmm. I'd love to visit Kanderstegg again . . . and I do a pretty impressive Zombie Ball . . . now, where do I write to?

Where there is muck (a dirty job, or skullduggery), there is brass (money to be made).

For example, Rag and Bone Men or scrap dealers who get rich on other folk's rubbish.

Is asking for evidence "acting like an ass hole"? Is asking that the rules of the board is followed "acting like an ass hole"? Is asking that the rules of the board is for everyone "acting like an ass hole"?

You and I are not "batting on the same side". Don't preach "open-mindedness" to me. I've seen how you practice that.

Not quite. You can hit as hard as you like on the FT boards, as long as you suck up to the mods. When they found out at FT what kind of poster Lucianarchy really was, they simply moved on, as if nothing had happened.

Being brought up in the North of England, I know what the phrase means, I failed to see how it fitted... and TBH, I don't get the joke now :D

Oh and Claus... I love you too...:w2:
