Merged Christopher Hitchens (1949-2011)

So no more juicy youtube debates where he makes some religious nut look like an imbecile.
 
Certainly lost a colourful intellectual. I didn't like Hitchens, or his muscular brand of contrarianism but I do recognise his devastating intellect and razor sharp wit. He would have been one hell of a dinner party guest.

RIP and may God save your soul :p ;)

Christopher Hitchens, the maverick essayist, unabashed atheist and cable television gladiator whose long list of targets included Bill Clinton, Henry Kissinger, and even Mother Teresa and organized religion, has died from pneumonia, a complication of esophageal cancer. He was 62.

Oh how sad.

What a loss. Sorry, I'm going to go be sad for a while.
