OMG! When I was in high school one of our friends was murdered at the gas station he worked at. So my girlfriend wanted to go to church and I went along. We picked a church at random, not sure how we ended up there but it was a Pentecostal church and people did that, they started speaking in tongues, some were on their knees in the aisles and in front of the pews. And why did the forum replace four asterisks and an "ed" with a huge pile of extra asterisks and no "ed"? That completely breaks the joke on replacing "ed" with "t" for the Brits! :mad:

Go antisemitic?

Republicans Have an Antisemitism Problem. The Democratic Party Doesn’t. The antisemitic left hates Biden. The antisemitic right loves Trump.

From that -

It’s impossible to grasp the dynamics of the issue without simultaneously recognizing that many critics of Israel are concealing antisemitism inside of criticism of Israel, and many hawks are attempting to delegitimize all criticism of Israel by calling it antisemitic. What healthy parties and political movements require is the ability to separate bigoted statements from legitimate differences of opinion, and to make clear the former is unacceptable.

A few years ago, Representative Ilhan Omar made antisemitic comments questioning the loyalty of Israel hawks and saying their support was “all about the Benjamins.” What happened next? Well, the party made clear those comments were unacceptable. Omar apologized, and Democrats supported a congressional resolution denouncing them. That is how a healthy party operates.

Unhealthy parties excuse statements by their members they would never accept if made by the opposing party. Marjorie Taylor Greene, in addition to famously blaming forest fires on a space laser controlled by the Rothschilds, once wrote, “An unholy alliance of leftists, capitalists, and Zionist supremacists has schemed to promote immigration and miscegenation, with the deliberate aim of breeding us out of existence in our own homelands.” If Tlaib or Omar had ever written something half that crazy, their careers would be over. Greene is not only safe in Congress, she gained an influential role as adviser to former Speaker McCarthy.

Donald Trump routinely shares social-media memes generated by white supremacists, spreads gross antisemitic stereotypes, has inspired Nazis to become actively involved in conservative politics, and invited Kanye West and Nick Fuentes for dinner. Republicans excuse all of this. (Trump also, of course, regularly denies that Muslim Americans have any right to participate in civic affairs on an equal basis or can ever become Americans at all, but nobody really calls this an “Islamophobia problem” because it’s obviously a conscious partywide strategy.)

I wrote a comment in another thread exactly about this, not that people often recognize themselves. People tend to be very self-unaware.

MAGA supports Jews to "go back to where they came from", which they think is Israel when of course it's Russia.
Trump's rhetoric is all about "divided loyalties" of Jewish Americans.
 
A lot of Anti Abortion activists surprised that Trump is trying to have it both ways on the Abortion issue with his "leave it to the states" statment.
It is to make one laugh that they did not get until now that trump has no real ideology except Donald Trump.

Agreed. Brainster did not call all Venzeulians pond scum, he siad if guilty the one who kille Laken is pond scum. Huge difference.
And if anything I would object because Brainster's comparasion is unfair to pond scum.

Yep, Trump wants American Jews to somehow influence Israel to do stuff Trump wants. He wants divided loyalty.

Which is surprising when you consider that the whole "open border" fracas is about exactly that: "Illegal Mexicans" coming into the USA to live there, rape the local wimmins, take American jobs, and vote Democrat, yet still being "not American" enough to be allowed to become citizens. That is, (supposedly) having divided loyalty.

Guess the difference comes down to the brownness of the skin....

It reminds me of back when Pat Robertson said that the goal of Feminism was to teach women to kill their children, divorce their husbands, become lesbians, and practice witchcraft

For what it's worth, I frequent the Daily Kos, which is openly and unabashedly pro-Democrat, and I don't think that I've seen anything close to that maliciously baseless and nonsensical even in the community stuff.
 
Well, Democrats are supporting abortions up to and past the 9th month and then executing the babies!

"They support abortion up to and even beyond the ninth month," Trump said in a video posted on Truth Social. "The concept of having an abortion in the later months, and even execution after birth. That's exactly what it is — the baby is born, and the baby is executed after birth."
