Windows 10

I have taken the plunge and just updated to Win 10 from 7 on my other desktop which I use at another location part of the week but is certainly not my main PC but can suffer a trial and I will revert if necessary. It only has 2 gig of ram which I seee is the min suggested by MS.
Left it overnight so don't know how long it took but has been fairly painless so far. Turned off all the "phone home to MS " options and only logged in to my usual local user account as I don't desperately need One Drive nor Cortana .
I am sure there will be a few annoyances to come, I am pretty fussy as to how Windows runs. Eg I notice if you select "show windows side by side, it sometimes doesn't work properly (some windows overlap) and then "undo show windows side by side", and sometime it reverts correctly but sometimes you still have to manually resize all the windows you have of open programs. Still. not an option I will likely use much.
 
Well well... Just opened the new Maps app - About to add my location manually Does anyone why it thinks "london drugs" is a place?
And before you suggest, it definitely doesn't have anything to do with my previous search history.
Bizarre.
If I clik on it it brings up a particular private address in London SW8, does anyone else get that too?

I just tried it in the web version of Bing maps and it suggests london drugs as well. Clicking on it one of the locations in the web map is:
Drugs Den

Seems like Microsoft allowed some crowd sourcing of business locations and has fallen victim to a prank just like Google maps, the hard to avoid problem with crowd sourcing data.
 
My blood pressure is about off the charts trying to deal with Windows store, so I'll come here before I go to my quiet place:

Is there a way to buy an upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro that doesn't require that goddamn Microsoft store?

I've got some of questions about touchscreens and Windows 10.

I'm trying to make up my mind whether I want to get a laptop with a touchscreen or a traditional screen. I'm comfortable using both a touchscreen (on my Android tablet and phone) and a traditional keyboard and mouse setup. I'm trying to decide whether I need a touchscreen for Windows 10 or if it's just something that would be nice to have.

How do those of you who have a touchscreen like how it works with Windows 10? Do you find that there are a lot of programs that force you to use a mouse instead?

How about those of you who don't have a touchscreen? Do you find the touchscreen-friendly design of Windows 10 difficult to use without a touchscreen? Not difficult? Do you even notice?
