Merged WIfi connection issues

Bit messy but there are 3 antenna
Sorry for the delay. Sleep and all that.

Pretty much what Plague said. Wired LAN is always faster and much more reliable than wifi, just less convenient. Trade-offs.

The aerials should really be at right angles to each other. And surrounding them with other cables doesn't help either, but it is appreciated space may be limited. Having them behind the case, and if the case is between the aerials and the WAP, does have a negative effect but not a near-complete blackout. Telling point: the card is no longer supported says it is old. Old cards are problematic, particularly with driver compatibility, and may not be fixable. I have a drawer filled with LAN cards now good only for museum computers (yay, coax!)

May be an issue with the wireless card communicating with the 2.4+5 bands together too. That's what it was with a few of my chromecasts. They just couldn't seem to figure out which band to work on and that caused them to go wonky. Separating the bands made for a cleaner connection, cleared it right up.
