they were best friends for a lot of years and shared a lot of wonderful secrets, and then had a falling out, and then he hated trump. and it's pretty clear from these emails he hated trump at the end.

as for the falling out, some say it was because epstein stole virginia giuffre from mar a lago, others say it was because trump turned informant on epstein. others say other things, too.

Debatable. I think they're both pieces of ◊◊◊◊ myself, and Trump is doing damage to more people than Epstein will do. Epstein was an absolute piece of human trash that died before he could get what's coming to him, but Trump has dead bodies on his hands from the handling of COVID. He is tearing families apart by the hundreds and anyone that crosses his path gets threatened with rape or death or both, just asking MTG.

For people who share your opinion about Trump, this whole Epstein thing is irrelevant. Your opinion of Trump will not change regardless of any disclosures.

But most people do not share your view of Trump. And they will not share your view of what Epstein’s enmity means either.
 
their friendship is pretty well documented. not sure what the issue was with that statement, hopefully it's not they weren't best friends but merely extremely close for 20 years. that would be disappointing.

They were casual friends, not best friends. And both of them are the sort of people who cultivate lots and lots of shallow casual friendships because it was useful for business.

That's your basis for the claim that they were best friends? Because Epstein said it to Wolff? In the same interview that Epstein tried to make claims about someone else's lack of a moral compass?

Yeah, there's some real credibility issues with that claim. Not that I was expecting something substantive, but this is real weak sauce.

Ok, how about the COO of Trump's casino thinking Trump and Epstein were best friends, Trump and Epstein's victim thinking they were "really, really good friends", the hand-drawn naked lady birthday card, the many, many, oh so many photos of them enjoying each other's company over some 15 years....

I find your attempt to pretend that you are unaware of their extremely well publicized friendship unconvincing.

The photos show they knew each other and were friendly, but that's not in dispute. That's not the part I'm saying is unsupported. The pictures don't show anything more than that. The birthday card is weird, and doesn't fit Trump's style. Its provenance is unknown. It might not be fake, but it also might be something someone else drafted and had Trump sign. It doesn't really give any indication of some deep friendship rather than a shallow one.

As for Jack O'Donnell's testimony, the facts themselves are apparently in dispute, but even assuming the facts are true, I don't see how O'Donnell is even in a position to know how good friends they were. And O'Donnell hates Trump, so you should take any characterization of Trump with a grain of salt.
