Like I said...it all depends on what you mean by 'Canada'...

Cleon said:Um, dude, those guys are folks in Canada who fought for the US in Vietnam. If you look at their "About Us" pages, it says specifically:
Canada did not send troops to Vietnam.

Then you've got Michael Savage, who calls for the nuking of Mecca and Medina one week, then tells stories about his Muslim friends the next.

Moron.
An interesting thing about pronouns such as it is that it's often easy to misinterpret what the pronoun is referring to. When I read Phrost's post, I interpreted it to refer to the "transcript" in the opening post, so that the meaning of what Phrost is saying would be: Even though I kind of like Hannity, I still found the take-off on his program funny because it was somewhat true that Hannity and Colmes really do behave that way. That's something I find admirable: being able to find humor even when the target of the humor is someone or something one agrees with.
In contrast, it sounds like Nasarius heard the it to refer to the kind of illogic Hannity is using in the piece. That interpretation did not occur to me in reading Phrost's post, and even re-reading it I think it to be less likely than my interpretation. But it shows how easy it is for different people to read or hear things differently, even when we think we have expressed ourselves clearly.

Number Six said:I can't stand Sean Hannity. He's awful. He make O'Reilly look like the most fair minded person that ever existed by comparison. (BTW, it may be my imagination but it seems like O'Reilly's show has gotten worse lately in the sense that fewer dissenting opinions are allowed. And the Joe Scarborough Show, which used to be a fair minded albeit right leaning show, has gotten a lot worse lately in the same way. I guess the idea is that if Fox is getting the higher ratings then you try to be like them to increase your ratings too.)
And Alan Colmes...I have disdain for Alan Colmes because he is a professiona a** kisser. Kissing the a** of someone admirable is bad enough but kissing the a** of Sean Hannity is as low as it gets. I haven't read Al Franken's book "Lying Liars..." but I was flipping through it in the bookstore one day and it had a device that summed up Colmes perfectly. In the chapter about Hannity & Colmes it printed Colmes' name in a really small font. It gets to how Colmes is so meek and timid on the show, constantly deferring to Hannity. It's pathetic.
No, you got it backwards. Hannity is the good-looking one; Colmes looks like a horse.Luke T. said:Count me as one of the conservatives who don't like Sean Hannity. I have never heard his radio show, but I've seen him on Fox, and he does indeed make Colmes look good.
