What are YOU doing to stop Trump?

Undeniable. And what he said shortly after is also undeniable: It was a lie and a hoax from day one. 8 years later and you're still gullible enough to believe it.

Even left-wing ****lib Snopes finally admitted it was a lie:
"No, Trump Did Not Call Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists 'Very Fine People'"

Who are the “very fine people” who attend a white supremacist rally?

Yes, it was a lie in 2020, it's a lie today. Yet, some of our resident "high information" skeptics still believe it.

Calling it a lie when someone says Trump suggested people should drink bleach to treat Covid because what he really suggested is that people should inject disinfectant to treat Covid isn’t the own that you think it is.

That's the plan. Along with registering voters.

Perhaps a white supremacist rally would be a good place to do this. I hear there are some very fine people there.

While I realize that people have different priorities in discussions and I understand how tempting it is to point out the flaws in the Trumpists' moronic delusions, might I ever so very humbly suggest that doing so is maybe irrelevant to the topic of this thread? At least unless you can think of any good strategies for doing so on a widespread national scale...

Please don't feed the trolls.

You must be new here. :)

My favorite kind of Trump voter is the Trump voter who denies they are a Trump voter but is considering becoming a Trump voter because the Democrats made them be a Trump voter. It's always a very convincing narrative.

Why should anyone care about your "favorites, your cynical views, and this snarky evaluation of motives ? You're unwillingness to consider the difficult choice many face speaks to your shallow understanding of the issues.

Very few people can be pleased with the choices for Pres presented by the big-two parties. The winner-take-all electoral system in 48 states virtually assures that no 3rd party has the least hope. Like most elections in my lifetime I will hold my nose and vote for the candidate that I consider to the least-worst; the least revolting candidate.

To you points:

I am not a Trump supporter. I can think of at least 4 other wannabees that I would prefer to either Biden+Harris or Trump+?. Despite that I will likely vote for Trump unless the Dems change their candidate.

The Dem party is pretty awful, so yes they are part of the reason. While the Rep party has had reasonably fair primaries that allowed those outside the power circles to compete and even win. Instead the Dem party primaries are rife with corruption (recall Debbie Wasserman-Schultz & Donna Brazile) and then the whole 'superdelegate' scheme seems intended to ignore primary 'democracy' in favor of entrenched power groups.

So why didn't the Dem party have serious primaries in 2024 ? IMO Biden always lacked any evidence of executive skills, and in 2019 was already showing clear signs of cognitive decline. The notion that effectively acts as Pres today or could continue to 2028 is literally ridiculous. His apparent VP, Kamela, has race/gender credentials, but her rambling speeches are as incoherent as Biden's mumbles. At least she has minor exec experience as CA Atty General. It's a very bad ticket and should have been replaced in a fair competition. I would likely vote for a Dean Phillips over either Trump or Biden, but of course the Dem party suppressed his attempts at office, so he wasn't publicly vetted. Too late now, I think.

That you remain unconvinced that so many ppl are repelled by the Dem offering and may therefore grudgingly vote for Trump, says a lot about your inability to see the dilemma, except through some hyper-partisan lens.

Of course he wasn't calling Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists "Very Fine People", just all those other fine upstanding folks that don't seem to have any problem hanging out with NN, WS, and all the other assorted degenerates that attended the Unite the Right rally.

I guess one could believe that everybody there protesting the removal of the statute was a neo-Nazi or a white nationalist, but that would make them an ***hole or an idiot, or both.

There is no dilemma. Anyone who chooses the worse of two options they consider unappealing is either lying about how they feel about those options or was recently kicked in the head by a horse.

I guess one could believe that everybody there protesting the removal of the statute was a neo-Nazi or a white nationalist, but that would make them an ***hole or an idiot, or both.

The protest was organized by a white supremacist group. Anyone who attends a white supremacist rally is either a white supremacist or comfortable associating with white supremacists.

Who are the “very fine people” who attend a white supremacist rally?
People who didn't know it was a white supremacist rally and thought it was a protest against tearing down a statue.

Calling it a lie when someone says Trump suggested people should drink bleach to treat Covid because what he really suggested is that people should inject disinfectant to treat Covid isn’t the own that you think it is.
This is what happens when you are gullible enough to believe ****lib media sources and politicians. Here's Trump's quote, I bolded the part you posted earlier and highlighted the part that you are ignorant about:
A question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposedly we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. (To Bryan) And I think you said you’re going to test that, too. Sounds interesting, right?"

And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning, because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful."

Trump never said jack**** about bleach or drinking anything, he was talking about the UV light that was being tested by Cedars Sinai that could possibly kill Covid infection inside the lungs.

Yeah, because posting links to Snopes and Politifact that debunk known hoaxes/lies on an alleged skeptics forum is "trolling."

People who didn't know it was a white supremacist rally and thought it was a protest against tearing down a statue.

Okay, then who are the “very fine people” who accidentally attend a white supremacist rally, see the Nazi flags and regalia everywhere, hear the chants of “Jews will not replace us” and decide to stick around?

Trump theorized about injecting disinfectant to treat Covid. I posted the direct quote upthread.

As a longtime Charlottesville resident, I can assure you that the locals knew full well who the Unite the Right protesters were going to be, and why they were coming. Previous "protests against tearing down a statue" that summer had conspicuously involved white supremacists, including the actual KKK, and anybody who followed the news expected the Unite the Right rally to involve even more of them. That is why the counter-protesters were there.

The "very fine people" who say they did not understand this are either liars or willful ignoramuses.

think any of those very fine people have their own little corner of the internet where they spend years reposting news articles of every black shooting they can find? that would be a crazy thing to do

The "very fine people" who say they did not understand this are either liars or willful ignoramuses.

And these “willful ignoramuses” not only had to be unaware that they were attending a white supremacist rally, they had to be unaware that a white supremacist rally was actively and openly happening all around them.

The people who didn't want the statue removed, didn't hear chants of "the Jews will not replace us'' and the people who still want to protest even if some **** birds show up with Nazi flags.

Liar. You posted one sentence out of two paragraphs.

From the link I posted earlier:
Later, Trump clarified his comments after a reporter asked Bryan whether disinfectants could actually be injected into COVID-19 patients.

"It wouldn’t be through injections, almost a cleaning and sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work, but it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object."

I would show you the video of the device Trump was referring to but left-wing activist corporation "YouTube" removed the video because they like to keep their compatriots ignorant and angry.
In the wake of massive interest in Aytu Bio‘s new Healight device for treating coronavirus with ultraviolet rays after the technology was alluded to by President Trump during a coronavirus briefing, YouTube on Friday afternoon removed the bioscience company’s promotional video from their official channel.

Trump sycophants trumpsplain he was obviously referring to the UV light thing.

They are full of it.

"Politifact" is a Trumpsplaining Trump sycophant organization now?

There are many takes on Politifact, some are retarded, as has been demonstrated.

On the most generous possible reading of this, you are still describing people who willingly demonstrate alongside "**** birds[who] show up with Nazi flags" as "very fine people." You should probably re-assess your notion of very fineness.
