What About Neanderthals?

Neanderthals were all descended from the Noah's short ugly grandkid. At least that's what Answers in Genesis says. Doesn't everybody have a family of funny looking cousins? All my cousins are blond, big-boned, 6 ft tall and well into the 300 lb range. That would be more signifigant if the rest of family didn't look that way too....

Christine -- erm, Brunhilde -- your phrasing has me flashing on Isaac Asimov's short story "The Ugly Little Boy." =@.@= It's one of the few Asimov stories that hit me emotionally. Like a ton of bricks, in fact.

[edit] I luuuurv me some Asimov, and no mistake, but not usually for the emotional content/effect.
