VP Picks 2012

Not even a snowball's chance in Hell. Gingrich is much like Palin in one regard: loose cannon and not inclined to follow orders. Job #1 of the VP candidate is to faithfully mirror the views of the top of the ticket and to do exactly what you're told. Idea men need not apply.
Ya think? Some republicans, like me, accept Cheney as doing a good job. ymmv. I characterize him as a loose cannon not inclined to follow orders.

You did describe Biden, other than imo he is a loose cannon.

West is the guy, he sees Reds everywhere
Oh, PLEASE! YES! I would love to see the mass migration of military people away from the GOP. Maybe he will drag his punk buddy Delgado up on stage in uniform and show everybody what a sorry excuse for a soldier he is.

Why do you refuse to put Marsha Blackburn on the list?

Why do you refuse to put Marsha Blackburn on the list?

As I said above, I have enough joke entries, what with N. Gingrich and S. Palin.

Oh, and also because it's you asking.

Why do you refuse to put Marsha Blackburn on the list?
She's a dim wit and has never made an especially good impression of anyone outside of her limited constituency, nor has she said anything absurd enough to make people laugh, so that she is pretty much a non-entity.

I don't have a good guess but I do believe Romney's vetting process will be much better than McCain.

Representative Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee
While she’s never been elected to statewide office, Mrs Blackburn’s prominent positions within the Republican Conference, as the Deputy Whip and the Communications Chair of the National Republican Congressional Committee, probably help the fifth-term Congresswoman pass the qualifications threshold. With Congressional approval ratings in the single digits, a member of the House leadership is probably less likely to go from the long-list to the short list. Still, she’s not a white guy. As a Southern protestant legislator, she’ll bring some diversity to a ticket with Mitt Romney. In 2007, she went from being a Romney supporter to a Fred Thompson supporter, which probably makes her more appealing as Romney’s #2 to southern conservatives.

Again, SezMe comes through. That link alerted me to the mentionabillity of Kelly Ayotte, senator from New Hampshire.

I read an article today (can't find it now) in which Rubio again asserts he not in the VP picture. Normally, that would have as much credibility as lefty saying he's been hired as Rushblob's suitcase boy, but for some reason I attach some truthiness to it. I'd give him a thumbs down.

Some crazy from Arizona would round out the ticket nicely. McCain is sounding more military lately, and Jan Brewer shook her finger at Obama. And I might believe there is a god if Sheriff Joe answered the call to serve his country.

Based on the phenomenal success of his recent TV advertising and rally, how do we discount H. "P.M." Cain?
