To me personally, one form of evidence is if I am able to produce facts from speaking with the ghosts, facts that can then be checked. If I produce detailed information that was never public knowledge and am able to contact a single person who is in possession of that knowledge and who can verify that the information was accurate and that it was not known to me prior, then that would be interesting. But not evidence.

I might sound ambivalent here, since I claim to hear, see and feel ghosts very clearly yet I hopefully sound like one of the biggest skeptics. Yes, both.
I have no idea Anita why you come onto a skeptics site talking rubbish and insisting you are a skeptic. Oh sorry wrong thread, in that one you are “hoping” you sound like one. You don’t. You sound like a woo. Woo is a nice word.
I see the ghosts of animals equally well as those of humans, so it is not a question of "when did humans become human enough to become ghosts?" Cats, dogs, dinosaurs...
It was ACTUALLY somebody’s question Anita, yes you know OTHER people who post to threads? You really need to PARTICIPATE in threads instead of turning the spotlight back onto yourself all the time with an even bigger more fantastic fantasy than last time.
And I realize that my perceptions of ghosts might of course not be part of reality at all, and I am obliged to be aware of that possibility. Still, they are for most part not something that bothers me so there is no reason for concern. I have never come across a ghostly experience that seemed implausible when checked against the facts, and very often I've perceived ghosts in ways where I've obtained information that I shouldn't have known...

But sometime in this Spring, me and a friend will visit our first haunted site the battleship USS North Carolina. I will be interested in finding out what kind of things I perceive. We will videotape our visit and it will be made available (for free of course) on the internet.

The ghostly perceptions are not random images, they show great detail and correlation to possible people, places, and events of the past. Also I've many times had ghostly perceptions that give me information that was later found to be accurate, information that I shouldn't have known... Like crime scenes, or historical sites. I'm not concerned. I'm not saying that I have proof that my ghostly perceptions are reality based, I'm just saying that they are no reason for concern.

Your rambling postings are so sad. I thought they were pathetic but I see now I was wrong. You have an insatiable need to come onto this forum and have any kind of attention given to you, even negative attention. In my former line of work when we saw young children who would do anything for a crumb of negative attention, the flags were put up to find out if they were in fact ok.
UncaYimmy and Desertgal are possibly correct. You need to find out if you are ok. You dont sound ok.
If you are determined to make a career out of the woo (and remember woo is a NICE word) you are more than qualified to make a start now.
