Vision From Feeling

Jeff, I really really did. You've just revealed yourself as a most inhuman individual. I can't believe you said that.

GeeMack, how would you feel if you lost your 4.0 because someone treats you like you're worthless, yells at you and hits you in class, and then none of your friends stand up for you because they're worried about them getting in trouble with the school for speaking up about a problem, and when you tell your advisor and the Dean's office they call you a liar and say that you don't need a 4.0 anyway and should stop being obsessed with your grades. I don't think you can relate to that since I'm sure your grades were never that good.

I don't think I should return to the JREF Forums. It's just harassment.

I did report it. Would you guys stop it? It really did happen like I said. I can not acknowledge the F because of how it came about. It's a very uncomfortable subject, in fact I almost committed suicide because of it so I would appreciate if everyone just stop trying to turn it against me. Please.

Anita, I've been following this thread ever since the beginning and though I've had very very little to say so far, please don't take what I'm about to say as a personal attack of any kind. I don't intend to offend you or insult you.

That last part indicates to me that you have a skewed grasp on reality and what is really important in life or you have severe emotional problems. Wanting to end your life just because you got one F in a class is a huge irrational reaction. I understand the desire to get good grades. I worked hard to get straight As in school, plus my mother was pushing me to get good grades. My mother once grounded me for not receiving full A+ marks on a report card, even though all of them were A+ except one, which was three points away from a perfect score. Your reaction is irrational. I'm not a doctor or a psychologist, but if one of my friends were posting things like this, I would physically drag them to a professional psychologist. Assuming that you are not lying or exaggerating about this situation, I am VERY alarmed with this post. Your insistence in saying that you feel fine is only compounding the situation.

Stop that. The man hit me with papers and insulted students every day of class. I don't see how I am supposed to attend a class and be treated that way. I chose not to attend that class, and I did not fail anything. The school failed. I do not acknowledge an F unless I am personally responsible for it.

Your refusal to acknowledge reality does not change it.

Its about a month now have u seen your boyfriend and got those crystals?:rolleyes:

The one's you made a blue flame shoot out of?

I've perceived dinosaurs from a distance, and also I've seen them around here in North Carolina. There is a place in the woods where I see the nesting site of a large group of iguana-looking lizards that are black and yellow. (Vff)

Well, I can tell you one thing I wouldn't do. I wouldn't steadfastly deny reality like you are doing. That's not how sane, rational people respond to that kind of situation. And maybe you should stop being obsessed about your grades, especially when your obsession drives you to lying.

And that brings us to another point. If my college advisor, the people in the Dean's office, and a whole bunch of people I engaged in a discussion on an Internet forum all recognized that I was lying, I'd seriously consider that I might have a very real mental health problem, and I'd go get a professional evaluation.

I don't think you can relate to that since I'm sure your grades were never that good.

Remember, we already know that your grades aren't that good. And now you're fictionalizing grades for other people, too? That's not how sane, rational people act in a situation like this. Also, my inability to relate to your problem has nothing to do with what my college grades were (something like 35 years ago), but with the fact that I was never so obsessed with getting anything that I would lie to myself and the rest of the world just to have it.

I don't think I should return to the JREF Forums. It's just harassment.

If you can't take the heat... :)

See you next time the thread is about to fall off the front page!

I'm with paperskater on this one. Obviously VfF is upset. It doesn't seem like she's currently suicidal, but there's no need to push it.

If getting a bad grade (that she can still exsponge from her record, I think) makes her suicidal, I can only imagine what failing to have special powers would do to her. If she takes these things seriously, a special power of her magnitude would be far more important than a grade in school.

Failing a class is one thing. Failing an identity created over a lifetime is something else entirely. Perhaps pushing for any test is the most dangerous thing we could do.

Impatience.

Incompetence, procrastination, and dishonesty.
If you think these are not the causes of your noticeable lack of progress, please do any of the follow-ups indicated in Ashles's posts:
Pill sample "study" results;
Detailing / FAXing notes from reading w/ Wayne;
Write-up from Mall "study";
Sending Unca Yimmy the information on same;
Doing a crystal identification test.

All are simple to do; any would be better for advancing your supposed cause than writing pointless posts. Heck, just the time you put into telling us about Ben Franklin's ghost would have been enough for a FAX and typing up the results on the pill samples!

But you won't, because you are unable (incompetent), unwilling to try (procrastinating), or unwilling to show evidence that reveals you to be a fraud (dishonest).

Pick one!! I'll even pay for your t-shirt.

Important notice on US law!!

There were witnesses, but none would support me because they didn't want to get in trouble with the school. Some even had recorded the lectures but wouldn't help me out. That's life. People are selfish. It's like when you see videos of people getting beat up in a public bus and the other passengers pretend like nothing's happening, and you ask yourself how could they possibly do that? Well, that's what people are like.

Anita -- If you were assaulted and verbally abused by the professor, and people have recordings of it, you're in like Flynn. Go to the Police. Tell them you were subjected to physical and verbal abuse on campus, and that you tried reporting it to the campus authorities, but they refused to act. Give them the names of the people who have recordings! Those are now evidence in a police investigation, and can be subpoenaed--the people have to turn them over. They no longer have a choice. They're covered as far as the school administration is concerned, because the school knows they have no choice.

Even as a non-resident alien, you have the legal right to protection under the law in this country. You have the right to defend yourself against attack, and the right to go directly to the Law even if the Administration won't.

Just be aware: If the recordings don't show that you were being abused and struck, you'll be in trouble. Filing a false police report is a bad, bad thing.

I stand behind you--and anyone--getting justice if you are the recipient of what is known as "battery". Since there is evidence and witnesses, once you put the police on the trail, you're not in this alone. Even a student who "doesn't want to get into trouble" knows that lying to the cops is a much bigger deal than not dishing dirt on a prof to the college.

Good luck!! Miss Kitt

I still don't know whether Anita is lying or a bit unstable, but in either case I don't want to be a part of it. I won't be posting here again.
