Trump's Second Term

Trump: We won World War I, World War II. And everything before, during, and a little bit after except we fought to be politically correct. We were a politically correct force. But now we have a real force

I think Stalin, Zhukov, certain other generals and 10s of millions of Soviet citizens would like a word about WWII...

Trump: "Helicopter pilots were wounded pretty badly in the legs landing on the couple of machine gunners seemed to have make it through a thicket of bombs. But they were taken out rapidly by our snipers who were stationed on platforms. Hellu-- actually unbelievable, helicopter platforms all the way the line."

Imagine if the media cared as much about dementia when it was Drumpf. We probably wouldn't have had him as president today.

Stand aside, Robert Mason.

Donald says voter ID will be federally mandated in the 2026 midterms, with or without the SAVE America Act

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
The Democrats refuse to vote for Voter I.D., or Citizenship. The reason is very simple They want to continue to cheat in Elections.

This was not what our Founders desired. I have searched the depths of Legal Arguments not yet articulated or vetted on this subject, and will be presenting an irrefutable one in the very near future. There will be Voter I.D. for the Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not! Also, the People of our Country are insisting on Citizenship, and No Mail-In Ballots, with exceptions for Military, Disability, Illness, or Travel. Thank you for your attention to this matter! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

Medicaid data has been open sourced, so the level of fraud is easy to identify.

@DOGE is not a department, it’s a state of mind

A grave peril I can see going forward is that people who oppose Trump will expect the Democrats to fix everything when they come to power, even though I think much of the damage is irreversible. Trump has shown that the vaunted separation of powers with its check and balances were entirely dependent on a certain degree of bipartisanship and and basic sanity that has vanished. No red blooded American is going to want to hear that their political system isn't the greatest in the world.
If the bolded part is true, then no political system in the world would work.
Including a British style pure parlimentary system.
Funny, but a lot of Euros think a Euro style parlmentary system in the greatest in the world.
I have real doubts if a pure parliamentay system would work with the American Federal System. I am not ready to throw out the Constiution quite yet.
If you have totally written of the USA..and it sounds like it....are you willing to face the consquences....like paying a lot more on your defense then you do now?

The problem with the constitution as we have seen is that it has no effect if you can stack the SC.

It is true that no system of government will prevent a party from gaming the system (if it has a majority in both houses). But it is a lot easier for a party to change the prime minister than it is to change the president if the polls start to look unfavourable. Do you think that Trump would still be prime minister if the US had a parliamentary system?
