Trump's Second Term

Not a cult

Rep. Jason Smith on Minnesota: "It's tragic when there's a loss of life of any in these kinds of situations, but it's incredible to look at President Trump's leadership. For him to take call of the mayor of Minneapolis and Gov. Walz, which are two people who have not said very nice things about the president ... "

Yes indeed, who ever heard of a head of state who talked to other prominent politicians in different parts of the country, who had been critical of him/her? Unthinkable! Only a very stable toddler-tyrant genius would do something so unprecedented, revolutionary even!
Oh, I agree, Andy. I agree; I do wish he was.

Umm, did this genius cultist ever hear how his dear leader talked about them? This bull ◊◊◊◊ coming from these sycophants is just tiring.

You can suck him off and he still won't love you.

Those 2nd Amendment folks will speak out any minute now

Trump: You can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns. It's a very unfortunate thing.

He really is a dumb ◊◊◊◊. He has no idea what he's said, or what he's saying, and as we've seen from his sycophants, it doesn't matter because they'll applaud virtually anything.

Black American calls out European-Americans for not 'paying the price in blood' for freedom and democracy. Very interesting perspective.

...Of course, up until the Wall Street Crash, there were famously no poor people, non-white people or immigrants in NYC. People forget that.

This always reminds me of a guy I know from the Bronx. He always complains the neighborhood where he grew up 'back then' (the `1980s') was a jewel. Now? Horrible.

Only, I knew his neighborhood 'back then.' Lots of vacant stores on the main drag while drug dealers were openly selling drugs. Lots of junkies around, panhandling, breaking into parked cars, etc. The motel was a crack den with prostitutes who walked the nearby streets. The streets were dirty, littered, with burned out abandoned cars. In short, it was a hellhole. Now it's been revived. The City put money in. The streets are clean. Illegally parked cars get towed. The motel attracts economy-minded tourists who are looking for cheaper rates then in Manhattan. No vacant stores. A major brand supermarket even opened. Also, no prostitutes, no drug dealers, no junkies, no panhandlers.

I've reminded him of all this but he always insists, "Yeah, but it wasn't that bad back then. There were problems, sure, but...you knew everybody!"

Actual conversation:
  • Me: So what's the problem now? The neighborhood seems pretty nice.
  • Him: Oh come on. You know how many Jamaicans have moved in?
  • Me: Yeah I used to work with a Jamaican guy, he bought a house about two blocks from that motel but on a side street. He's a good guy.
  • Him: You ever smell their cooking? You walk around the neighborhood all you can smell is Jamaican food. It's terrible!

Bessent lied?
I'm shocked.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has told reporters he stands behind his speech in Davos calling out unconstrained super powers, after a Trump official said he had "aggressively" walked it back in a call with US President Donald Trump.

"To be absolutely clear, and I said this to the president, I meant what I said in Davos," Carney said on Tuesday, confirming he and Trump had spoken by phone.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had told Fox News on Monday that Carney was "very aggressively walking back" some of the remarks to Trump.

Snowflakes, the lot of them. They have to smell foreign foreign cooking? The horror!

Maybe he's just upset that he now has to leave the neighborhood to find a dealer and a prostitute.

Convenience means a lot to some people.

I'm really torn as to who to believe here. Carney, who has an impeccable record of public service or the administration that lies constantly and shamelessly. Really a tough call.

Carney clearly got in Trump's head with that speech at Davos. Good on him.

I wonder how those 100% tariffs on Canada are coming along. Any day now TACO?

With the EU and India signing a major trade deal right after the one with Mercosur, these idiots can see the foundation of their economic foreign policy crumbling in real time and they have no idea what to do about it.
