I wouldn't bet on that. There are people here who defended Trump's previous Administration's corruption, such as Zig. It would be no surprise for partisan apologists like him, especially on the Right, to have defended the corruption in other Republican Administrations.

Exactly so. Trump's treasures are baubles; he doesn't care about earning them, only that he can flaunt them. (ETA) Thinking about it a little more, that could be said about his Presidency.

Pretty much the entirety of human history is about the victors resetting the clock to zero and enjoying the resources their ancestors got by murdering another group who got in their way of taking possession of them. As somebody once said, one death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic.

No. I'm not going to bother arguing that the shooting was justified. For my current purpose, it suffices to note that she was shot because she accelerated towards the agent. That was the cause. Whether you think that justified the shooting or not, it was still the reason. And that falsifies the lies that she was shot for being a Trump critic, or for being a liberal lesbian, or for being a bitch. Because those were the claims being made here, those were the lies being told, and that's what I objected to.

She backed away from the agent, turning slightly away, and then spun her steering wheel way over to the right (very clearly from his viewpoint, which he helpfully video recorded) to avoid him as she drove off.

Anyone claiming she intentionally drove at the agent is gaslighting.

He shot her because he intended to challenge her, with his gun as a threat, and her driving off provoked him to react in haste. Which was the outcome of a stupid and dangerous situation which he created by failing to follow the rules federal agents get trained to obey to prevent events exactly like this one. And the reason he chose to challenge her is he was mad at her, for all the myriad reasons you reject as causes.

Side note: she was clearly maneuvering away from the agent. And arguably not accelerating until shot.
