That is exactly what Trumpistan is claiming.I'm pessimistically guessing here, but it's possible that he will find that because the National Guard is under state control, and the actual military is not, sending them in will bypass the courts. I suspect he's trying to figure out a way to institute martial law without initially declaring it. Send in the military, foment a bunch of incidents to justify official martial law.
John Yoo, a former deputy attorney general in the Bush administration and law professor, argued on Fox News on Wednesday that the recent Supreme Court ruling limiting President Donald Trump’s ability to send the National Guard into Chicago means Trump could deploy Marines there instead.
Yoo explained Trump’s rationale for wanting to put National Guard troops into Chicago, which the governor of Illinois refused to do and successfully sued to stop from happening. Yoo noted Trump initially argued:
“Look, I’m trying to enforce the laws with ICE agents, with federal law enforcement, and I can’t do it, so I need to call the National Guard.” But the statute says the president has to be unable to enforce a law with regular forces. What does “regular forces” mean? We don’t know.
The Supreme Court has never decided that question before yesterday. The Supreme Court now says “regular forces” means you have to try with the regular Armed Forces first before you can bring out the National Guard. So the unintended consequence here might be that the president is going to have to call the 82nd Airborne or the Marines or the 101st Airborne Division, as, for example, President Eisenhower did after Brown versus Board of Education in the South to enforce desegregation. President Trump might have to do that first in order to protect those federal buildings, those ICE agents, and then, if they fail, he can then call out the National Guard.

Trump has reportedly said he's tired of listening to all the doctors and he's just going to do whatever he feels like to treat his dying body. You go Trump!!
Googled: DTIAP after stroke, likely meaning Dual AntiPlatelet Therapy (DAPT) with aspirin and clopidogrel, is a standard treatment for minor ischemic strokes and high-risk TIAs, started within 24 hours for 21-90 days to prevent recurrence, balancing benefits against bleeding risk
gerrit.vm apparently made up a nonexistent acronym. Maybe he got it from his alter ego on threads who quoted the same quote, only he is a doctor of "17 years" (what's a few years between doctorsHe is taking aspirin. Because Tylenol gives you autism.
Sorry for another old post, but I would disagree about Europe not needing a blue water navy. A strong navy is important for securing long-range trade routes, especially through the Suez Canal and the piratical waters off the coast of Somalia. And now the US Navy itself engaging in piracy in the Caribbean for the first time in like, 160 years.Defence spending is in no one's interest apart from those whom profit from making weapons. It is a waste of money. If not used they are a waste of resources, if used they are hugely costly in terms of death, injury and destruction. All countries would be better off with less defence spending. Since WW2 it is difficult to think of a war that improved things. Even if European defence spending was lower I don't think Russia is going to try and occupy any European country. Europe doesn't need the type of global offensive armed forces the US favours. Europe needs costal naval forces, air interdiction, local defence. It is does not need air tankers, long range bombers, air transport, a blue water navy.
Nice that he's taking credit for global warming.Rigged!

The polls are rigged even more than the writers.
The real number is 64%, and why not, our Country is "hotter" than ever before.
Trump says he takes more aspirin than recommended but his ‘health is perfect’

Donald Trump takes “more aspirin” than his doctors recommend but says his “health is perfect”, according to an interview given to the Wall Street Journal after the outlet recently questioned the 79-year-old president’s health.
Trump told the Journal that the large dose of aspirin he take daily causes him to bruise easily and that doctors have encouraged him to take a lower dose – but he declined the advice because he has been taking it for 25 years.
“I’m a little superstitious,” he said.
“They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” Trump said. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”
Like his predecessor, Joe Biden, Trump is facing scrutiny over his health.
Trump’s response to questions about his health have made headlines in recent months after he was seen with what appeared to make-up on on his hand and was seen to be drowsy in a cabinet meeting in December and at a meeting to promote lower costs of GLP-1 weight-loss medication.
Elsewhere in the interview with the Journal, Trump said he begins his day early at an office in the White House residence before coming downstairs around 10am to work in the Oval Office, which he does until 7pm or 8pm. He said he asked his staff to modify his schedule so that he can have fewer, more important meetings that he can give more attention to.
Trump said he acted on the advice of his staff to slow his pace, including spending roughly two weeks at Mar-a-Lago, AKA the “winter White House”, over Christmas and New Year. They have also counseled him to try to keep his eyes open during public events.
Trump’s health and vitality is a sensitive issue, in part because the advancing frailty of Biden became a significant issue and led to questions about a cover-up by White House senior aides.
Trump Day 347: Trump bans adoption from 39 countries, takes too much aspirin because he wants “thin blood,” postpones or lowers import tariffs, millions pay more for Obamacare, only 6 new bribery cases in all of 2025, Homeland Security tweets that 2026 will be the year of “American supremacy”

The dog whistles are gathering dust. This
"The Department of Homeland Security tweeted in 14 words that 2026 would be the year of “American supremacy.” Critics say the specific use of 14 words refers to the infamous white nationalist slogan: “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” The department posted a similar tweet in July, also in 14 words."I am sure it is just a coincidence....
I'm not sure whether he's proving or disproving this.Trump says he passed another cognitive exam.

The White House Doctors have just reported that I am in "PERFECT HEALTH," and that I "ACED" (Meaning, was correct on 100% of the questions asked!), for the third straight time, my Cognitive Examination, something which no other President, or previous Vice President, was willing to take. P.S., I strongly believe that anyone running for President, or Vice President, should be mandatorily forced to take a strong, meaningful, and proven Cognitive Examination. Our great Country cannot be run by "STUPID" or INCOMPETENT PEOPLE! President DJT
