The problem with Trump is that he deliberately causes chaos so he is the center of attention. He measures success based on attention and little else

He may or may not be serious about any of his threats.is all I'm saying. But because of his position not paying attention is not an option.

Why not call it the Gulf of Trump and be done with it?

And rename the USA as Trumpland. Also rename Greenland as Trumpland. Florida can be called Trumpland too. There's the Trump Oceans, the Trump rivers, even the Trump Mountains, and the Trump Highway to Mount Trump.

Trump: No.. I can’t assure you on either of those two.

Also giving away the Panama Canal is why Carter lost the election and the canal was built for the US military.

Greenland is defended by spirits of the land and sea, and Giants and Dwarves - US losses would be horrendous in a fight with them.
 
TRUMP: "Well, we need Greenland for national security purposes. People don't even know if Denmark has any legal right to it. But if they do, they should give it up."
 
TRump does not rule out Military and Econmic pressure on Denmark to hand over Greenland
I suspect Denmark will tell him to go to hell.

The Roman emperor Commodus tried to rename Rome after himself, as well as the months of the year, and several other things. It wasn't a popular move.

Who do we think told him that lie?

If they have no legal right to it then the USA can just take it and not worry about paying anything to Denmark.
 
I knew Trump was going to help Russia against Ukraine but I really didn't see him doing it by starting a war with another European country. I just thought he'd sell Russia a bunch of weapons in exchange for commercial real estate for himself.

He really doesn't care. At least he has said he doesn't. And long before he became a political candidate. Trump believes that bad publicity is better than an absence of publicity. He uses it to persuade. He uses publicity to stroke his monstrous ego. And he also uses it to deflect from other stories. Mark Cuban said before the 2016 election that Trump was a master at headline porn. He doesn't want anyone paying attention to the fact he is to be sentenced for a felony crime on January 10th. I don't believe for one second that he intends to annex Canada, or Greenland etc.

But instead of talking about how Trump is going to have to stand before a judge and get chastised publicly and get his hand slapped, he will continue to spout absurdities and the press will lap it up like kittens over milk. His rants make great clickbait
