He's already said this. Repeatedly. "I'll fix it so you don't have to vote again", anyone? How many more would you like? What would convince you outside of Trump actually saying, "I'm a threat to our democracy"?
Those Republicans sure love a growing deficit.Scott Bessent for treasury.

To anyone who recognizes that Trump is mentally ill, it is pretty clear that he meant exactly what he said. He's already said this. Repeatedly. "I'll fix it so you don't have to vote again", anyone?
It's long been made clear by many around Trump that Trump uses mafia speak as a matter of course. He makes what he actually wants plenty clear while phrasing things in a way that leaves him at least some (im)plausible deniability.Of course, this is convoluted nonsense, so the only real question is whether Trump consciously words his threats and musings knowing that there is 'plausible deniability' or whether he just randomly babbles whatever is on his mind, knowing that his sycophants will clear up any craziness in the aftermath. It may be a mix of both.
He's already said this. Repeatedly. "I'll fix it so you don't have to vote again", anyone?
Um, No. Read the last two responses carefully. This is not "cherry-picked' Of course there are examples when his language *is* cherry -picked to make him look bad, but this is not one of them. It is a *pattern* of speech that he repeatedly employs. There is no comparing this to Obama's out-of-context line. Obama doesn't have that history of 'joking' about being a monster. I don't think you are a cultist, I think you are mistaken. Even if you give Trump every benefit of the doubt in the context of his speeches, they are still motivated by sociopathic tendencies. There are dozens of reasons that Trump and the current crop of republicans are a threat to America's democracy, all well documented for everyone to see, but this cherry-picked (and incorrect) quote is not one of them.
What makes this any different than when the MAGA crowd uses a cherry-picked quote from Obama "you didn't build that"?
When people talk about both sides, this is exactly the type of thing they are talking about. And before you accuse me of being a cultist, we are on the same side of the aisle here. When you have to resort to maga-style tactics to make your point, you make us all look bad.
Doesn't he have a husband? Surprised the evangelicals will be happy with that...Scott Bessent for treasury.
