Trump's Second Term

Bolton indicted.

I'm all for this vindictive prosecution. The US is full of Boltons who need to see with their own eyes what happens to you when you get into bed with Trump.
And like everyone from Trump 1.0 and 2.0 he objectively deserves prison

From that Reuters link "Trump administration officials say lethal strikes are necessary because traditional efforts to apprehend crew members and seize cargoes have historically failed to stem the flow of narcotics into the U.S."

That's like arguing traditional efforts to arrest bank robbers and jail them hasn't stopped bank robberies, so it's now necessary to just execute them out of hand, and see if that works.

So, are these survivors now prisoners of war?
More like randomly executing random bank customers because you thought they might have a gun in their pocket.

I understand that “Slippery Slope” may sometimes be a fallacy, but…

Rationalizing “extrajudicial killing” and “summary execution” in any way could certainly open the door to more widespread application. “Deadly force” should always be a last resort*, not an option done for convenience.

This concerns me more than just about anything else this administration has done.

The administration claims they are using these "interdictions" to stop the poison flowing into the country. What did Trump claim immigrants
were doing to the blood of the nation? Oh yeah, poisoning.

Just throwing that out there.

They are dying to use their weapons.

Yeah, it could be. Victory over those trying to find the Epstein files maybe. But he doesn't think it is that. It might as well be Tinkerbell for all he knows. It might slowly turn around while tinkly music plays.
When he passes inter him there and call it the Tomb of the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ Moron.

We might found out who some of the people in boats that the USA are murdering are now.

To add to this, it looks like the Admiral in charge of the Southern Command is stepping down at the end of the year, he took command less than a year ago.

Adm. Alvin Holsey’s abrupt departure as head of U.S. Southern Command — which oversees U.S. military operations in Latin America — comes as President Donald Trump has conducted lethal strikes against alleged Venezuelan drug-trafficking vessels in the Caribbean Sea. U.S. forces have destroyed at least five boats since early September, killing more than two dozen people, and Trump this week floated the idea of conducting land strikes against Venezuelan cartels, though he offered no details.

The rumor mill is that he's leaving because of the boat bombings but I haven't found anything specifically confirming that though it's not at all unbelievable.

To me, this is the part that really sucks for a lot of these lifetime members of the military. Some have waited and worked their whole lives to get to the positions they're in now, but they just can't make it work under this administration. It's seriously concerning.

There's almost nothing this adminstration has touched that it hasn't ◊◊◊◊◊◊ up. It's a libertarian dream to have a government so broken that it can't be fixed, but that eventually comes back to bite everyone in the ass.

So, Trump publicly declares his extra 100% tariff on China is "not sustainable".

I wonder if the totalitarian regime in China now thinks they ought to roll over and cave in to Trump, or just patiently wait and instruct their population to suck it up as is their patriotic duty until the U.S. economy collapses. What a quandary.
Correction necessary.

Anyone who can get out with their rank and pension intact should do so ASAP, unless they want to be part of his madness.

Marine colonel quits after 24 years citing concern for future of US under Trump
Gene Trevino @GenoVeno73 wrote: THIS IS TRAGIC

US Marine Corps Colonel and combat veteran, Doug Krugman, "resigned from the military because of Trump," after 24 years of service.

He wrote in an op-ed in the Washington Post stating, and I quote:
"United States military officers take an oath to defend the Constitution without mental reservation or purpose of evasion. I swore or repeated that oath under five presidents, starting with former president Bill Clinton. I risked my life for it, serving as an infantry officer in two wars. I watched Marines die for it."

"No commander in chief is perfect. President Clinton’s moral failures are well known. President George W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq might be one of the worst errors in U.S. history. All recent presidents share responsibility for our failure in Afghanistan. I continued to serve despite all that because I believed the Constitution brought the country more success than failure, and I believed our presidents took their oaths to it seriously."

"With President Trump, I no longer believe that. During his first term, his actions became increasingly difficult for me to justify, culminating with the Jan. 6 attack on Congress as it tried to execute its duties. I hoped he had learned from those errors, but it only took a few days of his second term for me to realize he had not. I could not swear without reservation to follow a commander in chief who seemed so willing to disregard the Constitution."

"Worse than immorality, however, has been President Trump’s willingness to disregard the law and Constitution to achieve his goals. When asked in May about the Fifth Amendment requirements for due process and if he needed to uphold the Constitution as president, the first words out of his mouth were "'I don’t know.'"

"Instead of trying to work within the Constitution, or to amend it, President Trump is testing how far he can ignore it. If voters and legislators cannot close the gaps in our laws to clarify the limits to presidential power, those who serve our government will continue to struggle. The next president — of either party — may continue us down this path toward collapse."

"I voluntarily gave up my rank as the president suggested, but the future of our country is more important than any individual’s career, wealth or power. I have no regrets about my decision. I have given up the service I loved for the freedom to do the right thing, the freedom to speak my mind and the freedom to speak in defense of our country."

Democrats hate America

Mike Johnson on No Kings: "We refer to it by its more accurate description -- the Hate America Rally. You're gonna bring together the Marxists, the socialists, the antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far left Democrat Party. That is the modern Democratic Party. That's where they've gone. The Hate America Rally is the common theme among all those groups."

They're now telling you a swastika in plain sight is just an "optical illusion"

Multiple sources tell Fox – including those investigating the issue – the flag in question is an American flag – but with a swastika embedded into the ink or weaving. And here’s the strange part: the swastika is not obvious to the naked eye. But is more visible when captured on video or by a still photo. One source described this as an “optical illusion.” Another said the swastika was “easy to miss.”

"not obvious to the naked eye."? ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊! Absolute ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊! What is it, some kind of stealth swastika? ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊!

Translation: "There will be violence. We are going to cause it. And you will believe that Antifa caused it."

Bringing down the temp.

Oh, but you barely notice it among all the other swastikas and Nazi paraphernalia that are just out of shot. If you were there, why I bet you'd hardly even spot it.
