Trump's Second Term

It is a mystery, is it not, how the same fine and patriotic sages can complain at one moment that certain classes and colors of Americans are far far too fertile, (an article of laugh out loud humor in the case of those raffish and ribald Puerto Ricans) and then turn around and observe that "we" as a nation are underbabied. I dunno, but maybe they should switch to beans and rice. I eat lots of beans and rice and though it might seem anecdotal, well...I got more babies than some of you pathetic sods out there. Of course, I also might have benefitted from pre-conservative sex education in which it was suggested that suntanning is not the most productive use of testicles (there's this little issue of heat, for example...I mean didn't anyone tell those poor uneducated slobs that there's a reason they hang low when it gets hot?), and I'm probably in some special class, because although white and all that dreary stuff,, my family differs from the norm, as my grammatically strict ancestors instilled in us the unfashionable notion that parents who don't have kids are not, according to the ancient lore, quite properly defined as parents.
Pick any article from Der Stürmer alleging a jewish conspiracy to replace the völk with "lower" races, tanslate it to English and change all mentions to Germany with ones to the USA and you've got their thinking.

Contradicting the King live on TV?
Oz's days are numbered.

Q: "You mentioned a $1,300 drug?"

Trump: "Ya, I was referring to Ozempic, or the fat loss drug."

Q: "Those are going to be $150 out of pocket?"

Trump: "They'll be much lower."

Dr. Oz, interjecting: "We have not negotiated those yet...Ozempic has not been negotiated yet."

Trump: I do not think any president has ever ended a war. One war. I did eight of them.
If you deconstruct those 8 claimed ones to ascertain what qualifies as "a war" and what qualifies as "ended", you'll probably find most presidents "end" dozens of "wars".

And that's quite aside from the great big real wars which Trump himself was bragging about the US winning only a few days ago, but has already forgotten about. How about Woodrow Wilson and Harry S Truman, Trump? Did you ever hear of those guys? Guess not.

Imbecile.

I'm going to bet none of the other pharmas have negotiated anything with them yet either. It's a step in the process the Trump admin has probably forgotten to take. Just Donny announcing it is all they have on their to-do list for this.

Training to fight left wing violence

JD Vance: "Because we have such a big problem with left-wing political violence, we have to train the investigatory and law enforcement powers of the government to focus on that particular problem ... we really have to retrain the entire government to focus on this left-wing violence problem. We are doing it."

OK, JD Maybelline. Let me ask you this: What happens if right-wing violence breaks out? Are the investigatory and law enforcement powers of the government capable of dealing with that as well? Or are they going to throw their hands up, give in, and let it roll because they don't have the correct training for it?

Biden!

Trump: I did insulin. I got it down to like $25. I got it way down. What was it before that? It was massive. I watched this Biden taking credit for something I did.

We might found out who some of the people in boats that the USA are murdering are now.

From that Reuters link "Trump administration officials say lethal strikes are necessary because traditional efforts to apprehend crew members and seize cargoes have historically failed to stem the flow of narcotics into the U.S."

That's like arguing traditional efforts to arrest bank robbers and jail them hasn't stopped bank robberies, so it's now necessary to just execute them out of hand, and see if that works.

So, are these survivors now prisoners of war?

So apart from the parents without children idiocy,
Worm Brain also thinks that the average US teenager has a low sperm count. I'm not surprised, at least half of all US teenagers are girls, so that ought to lower the average sperm count. And if it doesn't, something is seriously wrong.
Hey now. Worms have feelings too.

Not a cult

Oz: In this country, the one that President Trump is leading so beautifully has been a country of abundance, not scarcity. To have abundance, you have to address the fact that we have 3.6 million babies last year—that is half a million less babies than we would ideally have had, even to replace our current population

Trump is at his core a Door-to-Door Salesman: all he can do is cajole the person in front of him into making a one-sided deal, here and now, with no thought of what the person will do once you have moved on.
That's why the EU can promise investments and purchases that will never happen, and Israel can agree to a deal it knows can be ignored when the next news cycle starts.

I understand that “Slippery Slope” may sometimes be a fallacy, but…

Rationalizing “extrajudicial killing” and “summary execution” in any way could certainly open the door to more widespread application. “Deadly force” should always be a last resort*, not an option done for convenience.

This concerns me more than just about anything else this administration has done.

The Treaty of Portsmouth is a treaty that formally ended the 1904–1905 Russo-Japanese War. It was signed on September 5, 1905, after negotiations from August 6 to 30, at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, United States. U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt was instrumental in the negotiations and won the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts, the first ever American recipient. The treaty recognized Japan's hegemony in Korea (which soon after became a protectorate of the Empire of Japan), awarded it Russia's lease on the Liaodong Peninsula (which became the Kwantung Leased Territory), control of the Russian-built South Manchuria Railway, and the southern half of the island of Sakhalin (Karafuto).

So Teddy not only negotiated an end to the war, but he also won the Nobel Peace Prize! Something that pea-brain Schitler will never win!

Sounds as if he might be about to announce a program of "handmaids".

Voluntary, of course. For now.

Who knows?

Also, at the end of the article, the strikes are being carried out by a special task force, after the admiral in charge of the unit that would normally conduct operations in that area handed in his resignation. Sounds like he refused to command an operation to kill innocent people?
