Trump's Second Term

The way some of the MAGAchud are turning on Trump over Epstein has me a little.... confused.

There were so many other reasons to turn on Trump (supporters complaining "he's deporting the wrong people", or "I wanted OTHER people to lose medicaid, not me").

And when it comes to Epstein, its been known for quite some time (way before the last election) that Trump had a relationship with him. (We've got plenty of photos of them together, not to mention Trump's quotes about Epstein "liking young", so Trump admitted he was aware of.... problems') And its not like this is the first 'sex-based' scandal Trump has been involved in.

And this isn't even the first conspiracy theory Trump has pushed, or the first time he promised some action and backed off. (Last time I checked, Clinton was not in jail.)

So why, all of a sudden, are so many MAGAchud upset that the man who hung out with Epstein isn't releasing yet more information on Epstein?
The difference is that Trump's chief cheerleaders--Bongino, Kash, virtually all the right wing bloggers and influencers, have been screaming 'Epstein list' at the top of their lungs for years now. And all of a sudden, the wind is out of their sails and they are dismissed in one quick soundbite. That does not make them happy, no matter how used they are to bending over for their leader, and that is trickling down to their followers. Plausible deniability only goes so far, even for most Maggats.

Its a bit like Capone getting locked up for tax evasion instead of all the other crimes he committed. If this is want it takes to break MAGA so be it.

Gas prices again.
They will be paying you to take it soon.

Trump: "The gas has gone to the lowest level in decades. You're seeing $1.99, $1.98, I saw $1.95 at certain states."

According to AAA, today's lowest state average price per gallon of regular octane is Mississippi at $2.703. Again, that is the statewide average, with the lowest reported county $2.546, and the highest county at $3.03.

Is it possible there's a county somewhere else in the US lower than $2.546? I suppose (I'm not going to go looking through each one though). But 60 cents lower?

Common sense, Trump lies all the time. Claiming his tariffs are working fantastically, gas is cheap and he rescued the country from the depths of demise are all lies. Don't bother looking.

Joking and laughing about bombing innocents at a faith office luncheon, he's so classy.

Trump at the White House faith office luncheon: "I'd get home, I'd say, 'First Lady, I had the most wonderful talk with Vladimir. I think we're finished.' And then I'll turn on a television and he just bombed a nursing home. *laughs* I'd say, 'What?' *laughs* So we don't like that."

So Trump can lie about everything. Religion (Paula White etc) and all the things holy to MAGA. And they believe it. And Jeffrey Epstein is the one thing they think he lied about? I don't get all the nuances of MAGA. Or is just that a fun conspiracy throry is always needed and they will pull out the one nearest to Trump? to be entertained?

I was home in Oklahoma for the 4th. Cheapest I saw was $2.38 for regular. One other thing about OK and Texas and I'm sure other states. You can choose between E-10 or No Ethanol fuel which would probably bump up the average some, as No Ethanol is about $.30/gal more expensive.

Brooke Rollins on farm laborers: "Ultimately we have to move to a 100% American workforce. A lot of this can be solved through automation. We are looking at that very closely. But also ensuring we've got so many job openings in America -- the able-bodied men and women in American who are not working today."

Hey Rollins! What about those not so abled? What about children, and the elderly? Do they need to find some of your non-automated jobs too?

More accurately, they believe what they feel like believing about it and congratulate themselves for seeing through the rest. They may still push it anyways, though, even if they see through it. Plenty of them have known all along that Trump is an insanely horrible person all along, but they still support him and push his nonsense for a variety of wonderful reasons like fitting in with their chosen community, "owning the libs," and the like.
