Assuming for the moment that Trump get's the R nomination, wins the election, and isn't in jail, what will he be doing in his second term?
I'd say it'll be almost entirely revenge on those he thinks have wronged him.
Democrats. News media. FBI. States that didn't vote for him. State election officials. Health officials, especially Fauci. RINO's who didn't support him sufficiently.
I expect there to be actual arrests on Trumped up charges. Certainly he won't be appointing anyone as AG who doesn't promise to go after his enemies.
Much, of course, will depend on the makeup of Congress.

Trump's second term agenda = For there to never be another free and open election in the United States.

Mandatory rallies each week to stroke his ego.

Personal gifts from foreign leaders.

A hotter, younger first Lady - or even better an intern.

Self aggrandizement.

I doubt he's thought about what he'd do beyond just getting elected to prove that he can be.

I'd really like to tell you that's ridiculous, but I haven't been living under a rock since 2016. My only hope is that he surrounds himself with people too stupid to pull it off.

But, if one were to make the attempt, what would you do? Naturally, you pardon the 1/6 "political prisoners". After that, I think the plan would be largely just do whatever MAGA has been accusing the Democrats of doing, right?

No such luck I am afraid. They learned their lesson from Trump's disastrous transition. They assumed he would lose and they had no plan in place for winning the trifecta, leading to many "dog catching the car" stories.

This time around (and probably ever time after this), there will be a firm plan in place so that they can hit the ground running and do as much damage as possible, as quickly as possible.

Have you read something or just guessing? Seems a bit early to even start to naming cabinet positions

Has anyone managed to figure out what his first-term agenda was? Other than "build a wall, lock her up, now what?"

Repeal and replace Obamacare. Which the R's never even tried to do when they had the White House, House, and Senate during Trump's first year.
Other than that it was just the standard Republican agenda of further enriching billionaires and big corporations.

They did try, pretty famously as John McCain managed to do something decent while dying and helped block it.

Tweak the libs. I simply don't know how much clearer they can make it at this point.

Trump 100% completely fulfilled his entire duty as President to the people who elected him about 4 seconds into election night when Fox News found the first crying liberal college kid to put on camera.

They did try, but McCain torpedoed the repeal.

People quite naturally assume things about Drumpf's mind that aren't true. Who could imagine a mind so shallow, so narrow, and, especially, so short? Like a rooster or a goldfish, he lives in a severely truncated Now. That's how he can lie so constantly: lying takes no effort when your past lies are forgotten and the future consequences of this moment's lies are unimaginable; lying is safer because it's never real. Knowledge is useless to such a mind, and thus so is experience. Reasoning, that is, depth, is contemptible because it occurs outside of the Now.

Drump's mentality is almost invulnerable, and that, by god, is what makes him dangerous. Psychological isolation is no threat to him. Hell, it's his normal state. Only physical isolation can render him harmless.

So let's all join in the national cry of

LOCK HIM UP!

Given how upset he was when he learned he could not order the FCC to punish Saturday Night Live for making fun of him, I expect his agenda will be “to crush his enemies, to drive them before him, to hear the lamentations of their women.”

I also suspect that Saturday Night Massacre will become a quaint phrase after Trump starts firing people who will not do his bidding.

Pretty much to oppose everything Obama did. Not on principle, but out of spite. As mentioned there was Obamacare, but also the Iran deal, and there were some initiatives regarding immigration from what I remember. And instead of isolating North Korea, visiting the chubby one and having a public love-in.

What good he did do (missiles to Ukraine and the development of Covid vaccines) he managed to compromise massively.

Think he'll branch out into opposing things Biden did, as well?
