Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

It's only a matter of time until Trump makes this happen. This corrupt administration has demonstrated over and over its disdain for court rulings, the law, the constitution . . . 40% of the U.S. will have a simultaneous orgasm when this occurs.
Is it too CTish of me to be thinking that ICE might be deliberately targeting democrat senators etc and their families that are not quite white enough?

I don't think the son was deliberately targeted. But I do believe Omar has a bullseye on her forehead.
Literally and figuratively. Hope she has a good security detail :( . And a plan for how to flee the country or go into hiding when the time comes. Then again, who knows if they'll have advance warning or if there will be an 'execute Order 66' moment :/ .

True it is possible it was just arresting everyone who isn't white that is also an option. Really either they were just arresting people based on skin color or they targeted him. Those are really the only options. I know I know racial profiling is fine according to the supreme court, because racism is winning.

This is one of the most disturbing videos of ICE abuse I’ve seen.

In Minnesota, ICE agents handcuffed a pregnant woman, forced her onto her stomach, and put their full body weight and knees on her, refusing to let her get up.

In the video, you can hear the crowd screaming over and over that she is pregnant. They plead with the agents to stop. The woman is not resisting, not moving, not a threat. It doesn’t matter. The agents ignore them, continue pointing pepper spray at the crowd, and one agent even shoves a woman backward, assaulting her simply for speaking up.

People keep begging them to let the pregnant woman off her stomach, to stop putting weight on her body. The agents refuse. The crowd grows louder and more desperate, because they are watching someone who could lose her pregnancy, right in front of them, at the hands of ICE agents.

Only after the crowd begins throwing snowballs is the pregnant woman able to get off her stomach.

And then it gets worse.

The ICE agents begin pepper spraying the crowd. One agent drags the pregnant woman by the arm while she is still helpless and restrained. Pepper spray fills the air, hitting bystanders and the pregnant woman herself as she lies on the ground beneath them.

This is not “law enforcement.”
This is cruelty.
This is reckless endangerment.
This is state violence carried out in public, on camera, against a pregnant woman who posed no threat.

If this is what they’re willing to do while being filmed, imagine what happens when no one is watching

I think that the US LEO have to go back to Peel's principles; first you police by
  1. To recognize always that the power of the police to fulfill their functions and duties is dependent on public approval of their existence, actions and behavior, and on their ability to secure and maintain public respect.
  2. To recognize always that to secure and maintain the respect and approval of the public means also the securing of the willing cooperation of the public in the task of securing observance of laws.
  3. To recognize always that the extent to which the cooperation of the public can be secured diminishes proportionately the necessity of the use of physical force and compulsion for achieving police objectives.

No, they are the scum of the earth. I hope, I almost pray, that one day, one fine day, somehow these useless sacks of ◊◊◊◊ will be held accountable.
I've been considering converting to Catholicism so I can say 'God dsmn ICE' with more credibility.

Imar is a liar and ICE don't racially profile apparently

Homeland Security
@DHSgov
ICE has absolutely ZERO record of its officers or agents pulling over Congresswoman Omar’s son.

With no evidence, it is shameful that Congresswoman Omar would level accusations to demonize ICE as part of a PR stunt.

Allegations that ICE engages in ‘racial profiling’ are disgusting, reckless and categorically FALSE. What makes someone a target for immigration enforcement is if they are illegally in the U.S.—NOT their skin color, race, or ethnicity. Under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, DHS law enforcement uses “reasonable suspicion” to make arrests

She was a US citizen. ICE told her, “No one is going to help you. You're all criminals.”

Thrown to the pavement, arrested, bruised and hospitalized. She was just driving to work - in case you thought your choices could keep you safe.

U.S. citizen Dayanne Figueroa was simply doing what you probably do every weekday: driving to work. She’s a 31-year-old paralegal who was born and raised in the United States. When her lane cleared, she honked and moved forward. That’s when an unmarked SUV swerved into her car and ICE agents surrounded her, guns drawn.

They threw her to the pavement and handcuffed her. She was placed in a van between two terrified men. And when she begged the masked agents to identify themselves, telling them that she was a U.S. citizen, they simply said:

“No one is going to help you. You’re all criminals.”

She was held for four hours. Vulnerable after recently undergoing kidney surgery, she was hospitalized for the bruising and urinary tract infection after her detention. That was just the beginning of her misery.

DHS decided to smear her publicly. Spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin called her an “agitator” “arrested for assault on a federal agent” - even though she wasn’t attempting to interact with federal agents at all. She was just trying to get to work.

How many U.S. citizens and legal residents like Dayanne have been swept up, detained, assaulted and traumatized in this crackdown? We may never know, but we know enough to understand that this is wrong - and that Secretary Noem’s claim that no U.S. citizens were detained is an outright lie.

Dayanne says, “I love my country very much. And I also love my culture and my community. And I have to protect both.”

She shouldn’t have to choose. She shouldn’t have been brutalized. And she sure as hell shouldn’t have been slandered by her own government for telling the truth about it
