Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

How about if they are a local trying to get to the supermarket or pick up the kids from school, and ICE blockade the street you happen to be driving down and you then try to turn around?
You get shot, then vilified.

JD Vance: "If you're in Minneapolis, and you have a person who came to the US impoverished two months ago and all of the sudden they're driving a Mercedes or a Lamborghini, it is your job as a public official to ask how did that person get so rich so quickly when they're also collecting a welfare check."

That never ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ happened.

Mob Rule!!!

@nicksortor
For the first time ever, I have had to be evacuated out of an American city.

Two security guards weren’t NEARLY enough to fend off the mob. @MinneapolisPD HUNG UP on me, forcing us to run away while being chased by car.

Minneapolis is officially under mob rule.

I’m so beyond frustrated. We absolutely CANNOT let these terrorists win.
That never ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ happened.

"The investigation would now be led solely by the FBI, and the BCA would no longer have access to the case materials, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation," Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans said in a statement.

It had been decided that the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension would investigate Good's shooting death along with the FBI, but that later was changed by the U.S. Attorney's office, according to Evans.

Totally normal, not blatantly corrupt fascism. Just accept the Department of Injustice narrative and move on!

It matters because you're treating the situation like it happened in a vacuum.
No, you're just selectively trying to apply circumstances to buttress the notion that the victim got what she deserved. It's just as easy to point out that the officer recklessly placed himself in harm's way by ignoring the regulations governing the tactical operations of federal officers. Thus his panicky response was largely occasioned by his recklessness and disobedience.

The difference is that officers have a duty to act in certain ways even if others behave erratically or unpredictably. This is because the officer has the gun and the color of legal authority, and is expected to be trained to respond accordingly even in the heat of the moment. This imposes upon the officer a greater duty of care, and we as civilians have a right to expect conformity to those standards. This is not a both-sides situation.

Hm, if federal officials are prohibiting state officials from conducting a meaningful investigation, that changes things. The separate sovereignty doctrine should still apply.

Yeah, she was obviously trying to run the agent over...

Seriously, there are bad faith arguments, lies, and vile, desperate lies, but none of them come close to the egregious **** we're hearing from the scum in power.

It matters because you're treating the situation like it happened in a vacuum. Based on what I've seen on this story, it didn't. You're talking about a situation where federal immigration law is being acted on, and someone opposed to that activity stepping in and actively participating in impediments to that enforcement. Ita easy to point out that doing so carried the risk for the situation

This reads like pure victim blaming. But perhaps more to the point you seem to be taking Nomi and ICE at their word, but keep in mind ICE has flagrantly lied about every single shooting incident they’ve done, So you sound like those clowns who cried when people quoted Charlie Kirk that it was “out of context!!” when the context made it worse.

This does not justify her getting killed. Far from it. But neither does it absolve the fact that her decisions contributed to the outcome. I wont suggest that the ice agent involved in the shooting has no fault either, but It's still an all around tragedy no matter how you look at it.

That’s a lot of words that essentially ignore that the reason this happened is that Trump is using untrained, trigger-happy goons to scare the public. But it’s easier for you to victim blame.

Will we hear that the officer can't be identified.... Or he is now in another state?
You silly fool, he was never there! He was AI-generated, and the woman was murdered by a sniper paid by George Soros!

Translation: The murderer will walk away scot-free.

Walz: We believe in states’ rights. We believe the federal government needs to stay out of this. We believe that the situation has gotten worse and less safe because of their presence.

I saw an individual at the scene identify themselves as medical personnel, and
asked to provide aid. And an ICE agent said, I do not care.

After this incident happened and after the tensions rose, IICE agents entered a Minnesota school, causing disruptions at that school.

To our elected representatives, Democrats and Republicans, I beg you, I implore you to tell them to stay out of our schools. This tragedy will be magnified 100 fold if this fight moves into the hallways of our public schools, amongst our youth, and they're watching us, they're watching us now, how we respond.

Walz: It feels very, very difficult that we will get a fair outcome. And I say that only because people in positions of power have already passed judgment from the President to the VP to Kristi Noem, have stood and told you things that are verifiably false. They have determined the character of a 37-year-old mom that they didn't even know.
