At the same time, it's good to keep a sense of perspective. We highlight our differences all the time. Reminding ourselves of our similarities can depersonalize some of hte conflicts and bring home that even the most ardent adversaries might get along just fine if they met in real life.

Hey, just fyi, at the bottom ov every post above the line of blue buttons that say things like "profile", "PM", "search" ect, is a line of RED text that says things like "nominate this post", "link to this post", and "report this post to a moderator." Clickig on the "link to this post" text wll bring up a box that has the address of that specific post that you can just cut and paste any way you like.

A drunk driver rear-ended a van which plowed into my girlfriend - in my car! - last friday night. The drunk was so frikkin wiped out she didn't even brake before she hit the van at approximately 30-40 MPH, she barely could walk...I hopped a cab to the accident scene and arrived as the two occupants of the van and my girlfriend were on backboards being put into ambulances... the cops asked the drunk "have you had anything to drink tonight?", and she replied "just a couple", no word of a lie...towhich the other cop said "that was after the 8 or 9 drinks before... right?".BPSCG said:
