the reason why, again IMO, the Russian Military has no chance against Wagner is that all top Wagner people came from the Military because they could get more money and their skill were appreciated.
When there is a roadblock with Wagner on one side and the Army on the other, the Wagner guys are just going to make a phone call to their former mates on the other side and offer them a "signing up bonus".

I think 2023 equivalent of the Sealed Train is a little sealed message, curtesy of Biden, to all the Russian Oligarchs, offering them to unfreeze their assets if they get rid of Putin.

What did I say about blowing bridges a couple of days ago?
Don't put it in to the heads of panicking local commanders, they will always do it too soon.

This also tells me they haven't stopped Wagner and don't think they can.

Wagner has found a new 3rd world country with huge mineral reserves it can exploit.

The real question may be what happens when they meet Putin's National Guard. They should be more professional and better equipped that the Army, and they will have a big numerical advantage.

The Wagner manoeuver makes this difficult.

Also, any rapid retreat would leave the Russian heavy Equipment at the mercy of the dreaded Ukrainian Tractors.
