Ed The Fascism Checklist, Trump 2025

The deluded and uneducated people are the worst enemy of the USA, not Trump. The damage is already done. My only hope is that they might feel on their skin what authoritarianism is and elect another president in 2028. The Europe at least learned this bitter lesson from WWI and WWII and I hope it will never be infected with this MAGA disease.

We hoped for that in 2016, too. The cultists just decided Führer Dump had done a yugely great job and that he bigly loved them, despite all the evidence to the contrary. We can talk about, for example, how his tariffs will make everything more expensive, but you know the GOP will just blame the price increases on immigration, Gina, Democrats, aid to Ukraine, and shadowy scapegoats like 'communists'. The information silo is deep.

"Educated." Do you mean those college students who need "safe spaces," cancel those with opposing viewpoints, believe that men can get pregnant, and chase Jewish students off campus?
 
Except it was bad in 2016-2020, but if you ask the trumpkins, they'll tell you with a totally straight face and wide-eyed childlike enthusiasm (seriously, it's like listening to children in the "This was the best day EVER!" phase) that Dump was the bigly bestest president the US has ever had. You'd think at least the death of over a million Americans, with their side dying at a rate of seven-to-one, but no, in their eyes covid was alarmism over a flu, and Dump handled it better than anybody in the world, nay the solar system.

Sorry to be such a pessimist, and I hope the same thing as you, but I guess the victory this November has just made me really disillusioned.

It so interesting that Project Warp Speed was likely Trump's greatest accomplishment, but it couldn't run on that.

I've heard them openly boo him when he advocated the Vax. It reinforces my belief that they have no loyalty to him, or even identification or liking him. They will drop.him like a hot potato when a better Trump comes along. Which, considering what a scummy person he is, could just be a dog with a red bandana around it's neck, if it lifts its leg on the Capiitol.

Sorry, but... Brainworm Guy will not only start the next plague, he will actively promote it. So this time, let the stupid people who follow his edicts die without trying so hard to save them. They are they ones needed to be removed from US society, honestly. Self-correction and all that.
