Xmas / real life getting in the way a little. Must do some more next week. Only done 3 so far...
 
Further Bump - How are the readings going?

This did look really interesting MrErisian, and I was really interested in seeing the results of your test. So if you wish to simply state that you do not have the time, or have lost interest, that's fine by me. Let it go, and advise us that you are not going to proceed.

MrErisian has given me five (5) readings so far, the latest two just the other day. So he hasn't forgotten about us. As stated previously, this will take some time.

I love Tarot cards, I have a few decks along with some other fortune telling cards. All the card readings I've ever had have actually been accurate.

Do I believe they work in any way? Nah! Just a fun 'folk' tradition/game.

We've had some very impressive predictions, for example I was told I'd be offered two jobs at once over a month or so ago and sure enough, I was. This happened in a recession as well.

I was told my friend was looking to move house, he was.

I got told my sister wouldn't be impressed by the bloke she went on a blind date with. She wasn't.

It's VERY strange but my rational mind knows there must be an explanation which goes beyond coincidence. What is it? How do tarot cards work their 'magic'?

Tarot reading is so like Astrology,all so vague for anything to seem like it's speaking directly to you.

Please get rid of your cards while you're still a FULL DECK ;)
 
Mate, answering the OP is an admirable thing to do, and will never get you into too much trouble, but I still think that reading some of the other 172 posts would probably stand you in good stead.

If nothing else, it would be yards less embarrassing for you.

I think at this point the challenge is pretty much completely invalidated due to the delay between readings. Furthermore, for the same reason I have stepped down as a mod, I am probably going to be unable to moderate this particular challenge. Anyone object to shutting it down?
 
Since it is around 5 months since agreement was reached, then I guess that MrErisian has gone for good. Sad, but predictable.

ETA: On another note thanks to arthwollipot on herding the cats during his stint as a Mod. It's not that easy and it is time consuming (I used to mod on the late lamented IIDB which was quite busy) and am currently an Admin on a Board which averages several hundred thousand posts per year.

Anybody who has ever done it for a long (or short) time on a busy Board will realise that once you have the keys to the city, you get tempted to throw them away rather quickly, regardless of other commitments. It is hard work and it is a donation of a huge amount of time. Thanks for your public service mate.
