I feel somehow obligated to bring something from Canada... not sure how well poutine will travel, though...

Could you save just one white chocolate one for me? That's all. I'll even just take half or a quarter of one if there isn't enough to go around.

I could make a deal with you: Whomever gets to the Tim Tams first will save half a white chocolate for the other, in case there is none left when the other arrives. (If there are more left, then other half can be eaten by the person who saved it, since the second person would be able to get a whole one of their own.)

Considering the two of you are the only ones that seem interested in the white chocolate ones, and I've only bought two packs so far, consider them yours. I'll keep a packet each for you in my room. Come and grab me at TAM and I'll work out when to get them to you.

Cheers,

Chris

As a newbie to the forum, I have *no* idea what you are talking about here. I love chocolate and cookies and chocolate cookies (who doesn't?), but what are Tim Tams? Enlighten a European, who only knows proper German, Swiss and Belgian chocolate and pralines... (enlighten = safe some for me to try them out :p)

You'll likely be disappointed. :)

I'm sure you've seen the Wiki article, already: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam

But, don't forget about the one about the Tim Tam Slam:

Here is what it does to people:

(audio is not synced properly, in that video, but you'll get the gist of it.)

Thanks for the Tim Tam (Slam) Enlightenment! OK, one more for the bucket list - Tim Tam Slam. Is it OK to use coffee instead of tea? Maybe as German I should try it with Glühwein...

Should I bring a few bars of the 98% cocoa chocolate made by our local chocolatier?

~~ Paul
Oh, yes please!

At this point, I'm thinking we should have a chocolate party!

Did you know that the South Point catering menu has a chocolate "bar"? I think we should have one of those at either the opening reception or at lunch one day...
