Do they make refrigerated luggage?
Sorta... I've been known to carry stuff in one of those soft-sided, insulated bags with a cooler pack.

Security was extremely curious about my setup though. I was afraid my homemade lox was going to be confiscated!

And I've been in Vegas when it didn't get below 100F at 2 AM! I wouldn't count on it being cool once you're off the plane...just hope for fast!

Dry ice perhaps?

Not allowed on aircraft (at least by passengers). Don't know why, but it's in the list of prohibited items.

Edit: I see bumlet5 beat me to it! And that may well be a real reason for the prohibition, they wouldn't be able to identify the real smoking items....

Out of interest, does anyone know what the temperature in a plane cargo hold is likely to be? I presume it would be quite cold, and I could store them in my hold luggage without fear of a mess of melted mess of chocolate biscuit in my case once I get to South Point?

Two years ago we successfully transported 4800 chocolate pigs from Seattle to Vegas -- arriving at the hottest part of the day -- with no melting. They're kept very cool in the cargo bay, so as others have said, just get to the hotel as quick as you can and you'll be fine.

The pigs were indeed winged, but Horatius is correct that they didn't move much.

Any requests what I should bring from the UK with regards to noms?

I just figured I will have room in my bag, since you all pointed out that casual clothes, shoes, and toiletry (incl. lip balm and moisturizer) as well as a credit card is all I need to survive TAM.
