So, is this an epiphany, or did she finally simply get around to doing some reading?
It looks a lot to me like the old enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend syndrome. Rosie lives in a world of sound bytes and three minute conversations. It's not hard to envision her discussing her anti-Bush views or anti-war views with someone who said, "Ya know, those pesky kids over at Loose Change have been saying the same thing.... Bush exploited the terrorism card after 9/11 to get his little war going...."
Her first comments, as mentioned in a post above, were those of a newbie to the discoveries. She just had the inconvenience of having an open mike and freedom to throw her musings around for an audience of millions. It's not entirely impossible that she just looked at bits and pieces... again, keeping with that limited attention span universe she lives in.
I think the polls may have had something to do with it, but more in terms of the commenters pointing out her new bedfellows. Rosie's decidely on the left of the political spectrum. There's always an appeal to believe in anything that proves that the government is evil. (The "catsup-as-vegetable" scandal, for instance.... I know I repeated that dozens of times.) Alas, when you look further at the self-appointed "truth movement" and find yourself shoulder-to-shoulder with holocaust deniers, anti-semites and racists, you may need to do a quick reality check.
ETA: As to the writing on her blog..... I think she thinks it's a cross between e.e. cummings and haiku... I doubt that she would be that challenged to write in a normal linear narrative format, but that she thinks this is artsy. I also hate it, BTW.... but I don't think it's illiteracy or stupidity; merely misguided.
