Rosie backs away from the ledge

False!

This one time, I made this awesome model building out of plaster stuff... but then I got angry at something one day, so I threw it on the ground and smashed it up with my father's sledge hammer, which I could hardly hold at the time.

I totally pulverised that building into dust.

In your face Debunker!

(And based on my experiences, I propose the WTC was demolished by an army of six year old wielding sledgehammers).

Rosie needs to learn to spell.

Her blog reads like the ramblings of a halfdead half naked man.

Actually, Rosie's writing style vaguely reminds me of a woo poster we once had many years ago, named "Agur".

Where do you start to unpack a statement like that? WTC 7 was not pulverized into dust. She's bought the dustification line completely. *sigh*

I don't understand how anyone can just accept such a foolish statement without even bothering to check up on it. Here's WTC7 on 9/12. I think her hatred of the Bush administration has blinded her to the most obvious truths.

godamn thats a big debris pile...I have never seen that photo before. Kind of puts an dent in Fetzers argument that there was little to no debris pile with WTC7...holy cow.

TAM:)

I don't remember where I found that particular photo but I do have a large amount of photos taken by firefighters from 9/11-9/25. I don't think most of them have been published on the Internet. I'm not willing to post most of them because I don't know who the photographers are (it was a compulation CD). Many of the photos like the one below of Sarah Jessica Parker (taken 9/17) don't have much to do with what happened on 9/11.

When the no-planers post here I have posted some from this collection.

I think that may be a better understanding of where Rosie's at, particular with this answer today from her answer page:

OTOH it's excellent archy.

She really
likes

a
lot!

I bet she and Oliver would get along really well, haha ;) ;)

Poor Rosie. Now she'll be just another "agent" of the regime.

Seeing Luke and company gathering outside the studio would scare anyone straight.

Maybe, just maybe, Rosie discovered some sober conspiracy site or talked with someone from the handful of journalists researching a potential 9/11 conspiracy from an angle that tends to irritate the "truthers"... A criminal conspiracy surrounding the events of 9/11/2001 may still exist even if extremist terrorists really did fly planes into buildings which were the primary cause of failure and collapse.

For some months immediately after 9/11, this style of "traditional" conspiracy theory speculation dominated. Then we saw stories of no-planes and poor analysis of horrible stills of ultra-compressed digital videos and... well... you know.

(NB: I know I'm a relative newbie to posting, but it takes a (rule 8) of a long time to digest every single one of the big ol' Loose Change annihilation threads.)

I'll dispense with more than the token amount of demands for evidence and a coherent hypothesis to support this insinuation (here they are: produce real evidence, please, and can you construct a parsimonious hypothesis that adequately accounts for the known evidence?) and say that, based upon the meandering, disorganized state of her thoughts in her blog, I doubt that Rosie O'Donnell has the cognitive fortitude to build a "sober" evaluation of any events.

Basically, she appears to be a radical. A kook. One of those people who, when presented with an idea that either props up her preexisting notions of right and wrong or smears people whom she believes to be "eeeeevil", will stick with that notion and defend it vigorously.

Personally, I'm in the pressure-from-on-high camp. Either explicitly delivered or situationally inferred pressure, it doesn't really matter. We can only hope that Charlie Sheen picks up the banner for C-list celebrities riding the woo-woo train -- since he's not doing any network television, there's no way he can be pressured to keep his crazy hidden!

Yeah, she is kinda dumb. ;)

Welcome.

That picture
is sad to me.
As for Rosie's
writing
I am glad she might be
actually addressing
with some logic
her position on the 911
conspiracy
issue
but is it so
hard to string
125 words into a semi-coherent
paragraph?
Uhh, that
style of writing on the net
is so annoying.

Yeah, she is kinda dumb. ;)

Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Honestly, though, I don't think it's a matter of pure intelligence: unless she had a team of writers in the late 1980s/early 1990s (by no means an impossibility), her stand-up routines were pretty quick and witty. I don't necessarily think she's "dumb" per se. When I say "cognitive fortitude", I guess what I really mean is the ability to sit down and marshal one's thoughts into a coherent flow.

Essentially, it's my (admittedly unprofessional) belief that she's a bright but disorganized thinker, who concomitantly lacks the ability to identify and account for her own prejudices. I'll admit that I've had to work very hard to overcome that problem myself, so I understand how pernicious one's own belief system can be, even in the face of opposing evidence.

of course
maybe
im just not
artistic enough
paint paint paint
to be able
to understand
so dumb so very dumb
how truly brilliant
rosies poetic prose
truly is
